Star Wars Outlaws Underworld Guide – Infiltrate Gorak’s Base and Tell Eleera or Gorak

Underworld is the fourth main quest in Star Wars Outlaws and starts as soon as you reach Mirogana after the crash on Toshara. You get into Gorak’s suite, infiltrate his base for Danka’s client and then face the first big choice of the game: tell Eleera or Gorak about the Pyke traitor.

Main Quest: Underworld (Step 1 of 6)
Location: Makal’s Gambling Parlor, western Mirogana – Toshara
Quest Text: “Having crashlanded on Toshara, Kay has teamed up with a mechanic named Waka who will help repair the Trailblazer. Waka suggests going to Mirogana to pick up a job from the Pyke Syndicate in order to get credits for the repairs.”

Mirogana is full of Imperials, and you need credits soon, so pick up every valuable you see on the way. Stay out of sight of the Imperial personnel while stealing, or you risk ending up in jail.

Tip: Stealing from Stormtroopers gets you grenades, and their commander carries valuables you can sell.

At the Mirogana entry checkpoint you don’t need to wait in line. Walk straight to the energy field, where a Stormtrooper checks your ID, then follow your map to Makal’s Gambling Parlor in the west of the city.

Don’t Buy the VIP Invite

A Broker at the cantina offers you a VIP invite to Gorak’s suite. It’s a fake, so keep your credits.

Inside, talk to the Bartender. Kay asks to see Gorak, but the Bartender says you need an invitation. If you bought the Broker’s invite, she laughs at it.

Main Quest: Underworld (Step 2 of 6)
Location: Turbolift inside Makal’s Gambling Parlor

The only way up to Gorak’s suite is the turbolift inside the cantina, and the Bartender stops you if you walk up to its closed doors.

Bribe the Technician

In the corridor next to the turbolift, a Technician is working on a wall panel. Talk to her: she won’t help you, but she takes a bribe of 150 credits. You should have that by now from stealing and selling valuables.

The orange door next to the Technician now opens. Use the computer inside to hack the turbolift and bring it down. Step into the turbolift, ignore the Bartender and ride it up to the suite.

In the cutscene, Gorak sends away an Imperial Officer and then turns to Kay. When she mentions that Waka sent her, he dismisses her and tells her to come back when she knows more about how things work.

Back downstairs, Danka, a Mon Calamari information broker, offers Kay a job: a client wants something stolen from Gorak’s private base.

Main Quest: Underworld (Step 3 of 6)
Location: Pyke Syndicate District, northeastern Mirogana – Toshara
Quest Text: “After failing to get work from Gorak and the Pyke Syndicate, an information broker named Danka has set Kay up with a job. Kay must break into Gorak’s base and steal some data for an unknown client.”

This step unlocks Reputation. You can check your Reputation and the Criminal Network information in the in-game menu any time. Each Criminal Network has 3 rewards for reaching the highest reputation with them.

The Pyke Syndicate District covers the whole northeast of Mirogana. Guards block the entrance, so you have to sneak in. At the entrance area, look for a vent you can crouch into to get past the guarded gate.

Reach the Maintenance Door

Crouch through the vent. On the other side, the new objective “Reach the maintenance door” appears.

You come out on a balcony above the district entrance. Don’t take the stairs on the left. Go right instead, to a grapple point that takes you down into the round open area. On the ground, look for another vent across the hall, behind the guard at the stairs leading up.

The vent comes out right next to the guard at the stairs. Sneak to the left and use the crates and buildings as cover until you reach the far end.

After the sneaking stretch, stairs lead up to a large building. Climb the grated walls on either side to reach the upper balcony. Look for the yellow climbing bars.

On the balcony, follow the yellow mission marker on your HUD to a door and open it with the Data Spike. Inside is another vent. Crawl through it to a grated platform, where Kay wonders how to get up there.

The Maintenance Area

You’re aiming for a broken pipe high up. Drop from the grated platform to a metal one with a ladder and climb down to the ground. Press the call button to bring the turbolift down, then climb the ladder again and jump onto the turbolift roof.

From the turbolift roof, climb to a small platform and send Nix to call the second turbolift.

The second turbolift stops right next to Kay. Jump onto the grated wall and climb up to the broken pipe, following the yellow bars.

Inside the ventilation pipe are two propellers, and the first one blocks your way. Switch to Nix and look for the power line that runs from the propeller to a closed shutter. Have Nix open the shutter, then shoot the power cell behind it to stop the propeller.

Leave the pipe on the other side to reach an open, cave-like area with railed platforms.

Note: Down in the chasm, a chest sits inside a broken pipe. Override the lock to open it. It looks like a Treasure, but it doesn’t count toward the Mirogana Undiscovered Treasures.

Look up for the grapple point on the ceiling and swing across the chasm. If you fall, use the ladder to climb back up and try again.

On the far side, climb a ladder and go through the doorway to reach the Pyke Stronghold.

Disable the Energy Barrier

At the Pyke Stronghold you can go in quietly or guns blazing. Either way, you need to shut down the energy barrier at the back: destroy the two power cells on each side of the entrance with the red glowing shield.

If you can’t find the power cells, follow the thick power lines leading away from the shielded door.

Break into the Tower and Access Gorak’s Terminal

With the barrier down, open the big red door at the back with the Data Spike. Defeat the two guards inside and take the elevator at the end of the room up to Gorak’s office, where you access Gorak’s terminal.

Note: Gorak’s office also has a locked chest with 500 credits. It looks like a Treasure chest but isn’t one.

Location: Gorak’s base to the Mirogana landing port

Using the terminal sets off the alarm. You get the Spotchka Recipe quest item, and enemies attack. Defeat them and go back to the elevator, which you now have to open with the Data Spike because of the lockdown.

Behind the door is an empty shaft, so Kay has to climb. Yellow grated walls lead all the way up. The camera angle is a bit odd here, but the climb is straightforward.

At the top, go through another vent into living quarters full of enemies. Defeat them and leave through the vent shaft at the back.

Outside, look up for a grapple point and swing across the chasm to the yellow grated wall. Climb it to the far left, where you can see Mirogana’s landing port in the distance. Head toward it and follow the long grey cable down to the next grapple point.

Jump to the small structure and go right. Swing across a gap from the overhead log to a white climbing wall. Climb all the way up and follow the cable to the port, where you can drop safely onto the landing pad.

Main Quest: Underworld (Step 5 of 6)
Location: Makal’s Gambling Parlor

Back at the cantina, Danka introduces Kay to Eleera of Crimson Dawn. Eleera knows Kay stole the Trailblazer and that Zerek Besh wants her. She’ll keep quiet if Kay keeps working for them.

Tell Eleera About the Pyke Traitor or Save the Information for Gorak

Kay now has to decide what to do with what she found on Gorak’s terminal:

Tell Eleera about the Pyke traitor: Your reputation with Crimson Dawn goes up.
Save the information for Gorak: Your reputation with the Pyke Syndicate goes up once you talk to Gorak.

Reward from Eleera: Fuel Injectors for the Trailblazer.

Main Quest: Underworld (Step 6 of 6)
Location: Gorak’s suite, Makal’s Gambling Parlor

If you saved the information for Gorak, ride the cantina turbolift up to his suite and give it to him. Your Pyke Syndicate reputation goes up to Good, so you can now walk into the Pyke Syndicate district without sneaking.

Gorak’s story continues later in the Pyke Syndicate quest The Traitor. The next main quest is New Tricks.
