Palette Prime Secret Zone Walkthrough – Sparks of Hope

The Entrance

You’ll need the Spellbound Key to open the Palette Prime Secret Zone, and you can buy it in the Shop for 9 Planet Coins. Planet Coins come from completing Side Quests, so clear a few of those first if you’re short.

Head down to the water near Paletteville, where you’ll find a Darkmess barrier blocking the way. Walk around the large animal snake head close by to find the square key for the barrier device.

Follow the path and cross the bridge over the river to take down the “Evil by the Lake” Darkmess Puddle. Once it’s defeated, keep following the path until you reach the colourful door. Unlock it with the Spellbound Key and step through into the Secret Zone.

How to Solve the Secret Zone

You’ll enter the Secret Zone standing right in front of the exit. Jump down to the right of the entrance to get started.

Pull out your Scanner with ZL and scan the bridge straight ahead of you. Cross it, pass the device where you’ll pick up the circle key, then scan again on the far side, since there are two bridges to cross here.

Cross the second bridge and head down the ramp to the left (following the path from the red dot to the yellow dot on your map). From there, scan for a ladder and climb up.

Cross the next bridge and grab the round key, which unclogs the white pipes. You can then jump down to the level below.

The Barrier Device is now on the same level as you. Slot the key into it to unlock the white pipes, then enter the pipe on that same level.

Head back to the entrance and jump down again, just like you did at the start. This time the pipe is open, so go ahead and enter it.

You’ll land in front of a barrier with a pressure plate on the far side. Take the pipe up and scan for a box, marked by the carved path on the floor. If the wave shows red, you’re standing in the box’s path and it won’t appear, so reposition yourself until the light turns yellow.

Push the box off the edge, then take the ladder down and scan for a second ladder leading up to the opposite side. From there, you can drop straight down onto the box and push it further.

Drop the box onto the pressure plate to make the barrier disappear. With the path clear, head over to meet the Wildclaw Master Spark.
