Wayne Manor Grounds

Go to the Garden

At the start of the game, Bruce and his dad are in a part of the gardens at the Wayne Manor Grounds. Approach the Gate at the end of this part of the garden, and Alfred will open it.

For Fun: Merry-Go-Round

You can build a Merry-Go-Round in the garden of the Wayne Manor Grounds and play with it. Destroy everything before reaching the garden gate, build the Merry-Go-Round, and spin it.

Find Bruce’s Costume (3 Parts)

After Alfred has opened the gate, you will be introduced to the “Detect” function in the game. Use it to detect Bruce’s cape hanging on the big statue in the center of the garden. It is the first part of three to find Bruce’s Costume.

Use the “Detect” function again to see the big chest near Bruce’s mom glow golden. Open the chest to find the second part of Bruce’s costume: The goggles.

Use the “Detect” again near Alfred and the “W” shaped hedge to find the hat hanging on the hedge. Pick it up to find the last piece of Bruce’s Costume. Smash the hedge and pick up the hat.

For Fun: Lawn Mower

Destroy everything near the big statue to build a lawn mower. It will drop a lot of studs, so make sure to run after it!

For Fun: Fountain

Get to the top of the fountain to collect a blue stud!

Collect Bruce’s Hat

The line of silver studs will lead the way to Bruce’s Hat. This part of the garden is not very well kept, but you will learn to jump over obstacles and balance.

At the other side of the river, you will crouch through a little cave to find the hat at the other end. But the wind will blow it even further away.

The next part of the garden is quite dark and a bit scary. At the end of this thorny path is an old well, and the hat is right on top of it. As soon as you collect it, Bruce will fall into the well. His dad will save him, and the cutscene of Bruce’s parents’ death follows, and him meeting the penguin later in life.

For Fun: Swing

There is a swing on top of the log-balancing section! Use it for some fun!

Falcone Confrontation

After the cutscene, you will have to fight Falcone’s henchmen. Dodge their attacks and defeat the men. In the next cutscene, Carmine Falcone arrives and later Ra’s al Ghul to tell him about the League of Shadows.

Mountain Climb

Find a Blue Flower

Bruce follows up on the invitation and climbs Nanda Parbat with Talia in tow. The goal is to find a blue flower. Keep following the line of silver studs to learn the grapple function.

Keep following the path and use the grapple to climb the mountain. After the second grapple, turn around to see a glow in the corner of the area – a blue stud!

For Fun: Pose

After the third grapple, you can use “Pose” on the wall to pose with Talia.

Continue on to a wooden bridge that will collapse after a stone avalanche. You can still cross the bridge, but you have to balance across. At the end of the path, there is a big package. Use your “Detect” ability here, destroy the package, and build a turbine that will suck in the overhead debris, clearing a grapple point!

For Fun: Snowman

Just after the wooden bridge, build a snowman for a nice amount of studs! There are three parts. A round wooden base, the middle section with the wooden arms, and the head.

For Fun: Pet a Yak!

Don’t forget to pet the yaks!

Keep using the grapple ability until you reach a ledge, where you have to shimmy to the right, hanging on a rope. Jump to switch height or sides.

After the ledge shimmy, keep following the line of silver studs and keep climbing with the grapple until you learn ledge drop, where you also find two golden studs.

At the end of a cave, you will witness a goat eating a blue flower. Balance and jump across to the other side. Keep climbing using grapple and ledge shimmy.

In the next section, Bruce and Talia will split up at the crossroads. It does not matter which path you take. Pick one and use the abilities you’ve learned to get to the other end, where you will discover a crashlanded plane. A blue stud is near the plane’s cockpit.

Destroy everything around the crashed plane, then use “Detect” and destroy the package. The package makes 2/3 of the bricks and the destroyed area 1/3 to build a catapult with two seats that will take you across the abyss to the other side. While flying, fly through the circles in the sky to collect the studs.

You will crash into one of the structures on the other side. Here you can also build a snowman and pick up a purple stud.

In the crashlanded area, destroy everything to find a crawlspace. Follow it through to a room with a ring of golden studs and a goat. Destroy everything and build a campfire to melt the ice and take the purple stud. For fun, you can also roast marshmallows and pet the goat.

Return to the crashland site. Then, exit the area by lifting the barrier near the metal gate together with Talia. Keep grappling and climbing to finally find a blue flower.

Combat Training

You’ve reached the League of Shadows training grounds. Exit through the only exit, the one with the red, crossed swords. Follow the path to an arena. Before you enter, make sure to collect the blue stud to the left of the entrance.

This is basically the game’s fighting tutorial. You will learn the following:
1 -> Dodge 3 times
2 -> Counter Attack 5 times
3 -> Hit Counter and Basic Attack
4 -> Enemy Takedown when focus is full (circle around character)

Defeat all Ninjas to continue with the story.

Stealth Training

Stealth Training. Go through the gate ahead. This time, you have to use your balancing skills to reach the building at the end of the path. Here, destroy everything and build a missile. Use the crank to aim at the rocks on the other side, then jump onto the small platform to fire the rocket and destroy the rocks. Grapple across and meet with Ra’s.

In the room, choose one of the pressure plates to stand on to start the Stealth Training. Before I start an action like that, though, I always go around the room destroying things for studs.

Sneak past the guard as instructed, then follow Ra’s. By grappling across to him. Look around, there is a blue stud on the other side. Start with the second part of the Stealth Training by standing on the next pressure plate. Here you will learn stealth takedown. Use those skills to reach the other side of the room. Stand on the pressure plate there and wait for Talia to stand on hers.

Exit the room and continue on the path. There are two paths now. One to the left and one to the right. Choose whichever you please to learn about Takedown from Above.

Then go to the third pressure plate area and stand on one to start. Now you face your final challenge. Reach the back of the room without being caught. You only have to use Takedown from Above on one of them. Use the grapples to get as close to the exit as possible, then wait for the right moment to take down the one patrolling ninja. Bolt for the exit after.

A third pressure plate area awaits on the other side. Bruce will point out the “interesting choice of decor”, looking at the 6 ninja statues. They are indestructible as well. Stand on the pressure plate when ready and sneak up on Ra’s.

Gadget Training

Gadget Training. Go through the gate ahead and stand on the pressure plate.

Enter the room to begin the Shuriken training. Pick it up as instructed to start. Destroy all three targets to continue.

In the next area, you will find that the floor is lava and three cages hanging on hinges. Shoot the round center of the hinges to drop them. You can now cross the room without touching lava.

In the next area, you have to shoot the targets and cross over before the time runs out. There is a small section you can stand on in between. So you don’t have to do both at once in a hurry. Do one after the other.

The third section is even more complicated. First, shoot down the three dangling cones to get the crossing platforms. This will start the axes swinging from left to right. Cross over while avoiding being hit by them!

The next target is at the end of a massive spear trap. Time your throw to hit it and deactivate the trap. Right after you pass this trap, look for a purple stud in the right side corner, next to the target.

Follow the path ahead using grapple. In the next section, you will learn about distracting someone by throwing a shuriken. Throw the shuriken down below and perform a Takedown. Pick up the blue stud here before going to the pressure plate exit.

Complete your training by learning “Stun”. Quick-throw shurikens. Multiple hits will stun enemies. Defeat all the Ninjas to continue with the story and end Mission 1: The League of Shadows.
