Out of the 38 Locked Boxes in Mafia: The Old Country. Here’s where they are in the chapters.

Chapter 3 – Pizzu – Customs Area

In Chapter 3: Pizzu, Enzo, Luca, and Cesare ride to Porto Almaro, where Enzo has to sneak into the customs office. On the table, near the first officer he encounters, is this locked box.

Chapter 3 – Pizzu – Impound Yard

In Chapter 3: Pizzu, Enzo, Luca, and Cesare ride to Porto Almaro, where Enzo has to sneak into the customs office. Inside the impound yard, near the first guard, is this chest. There is a wetstone near the entrance to the Impound Yard, but I couldn’t use it since weapons are forbidden in this part of the chapter. Come back later with a better knife if you want to open all the Locked Boxes here.

Inside the impound yard, near the car and the whiskey that needs to be found for the quest, is a second chest.

Chapter 3 – Pizzu – Abandoned Farm

In Chapter 3: Pizzu, after retrieving the whiskey in the Porto Almaro impound yard, Enzo and Cesare end up cleaning out an Abandoned Farm – it’s where Enzo gets to shoot for the first time. Here, in a ruined side building, is a chest.

Make your way to the main building, where you’ll find two locked boxes waiting for you. You’ll also find a whetstone available, should you need it.

In the main building, break the padlock to the backyard using either a gunshot or your knife. Once outside, you’ll find another chest waiting for you.

Chapter 4 – Il Barone – Temple

In Chapter 4: Il Barone, Enzo is visiting the Temple of Aphrodite, where Isabella is kidnapped. Don’t miss the locked box inside the temple.

Chapter 4 – Il Barone – Lower Camp

In Chapter 4: Il Barone, Enzo follows Messina to his camp, where he keeps the kidnapped Gennaro. On the ground level of the camp, you can find this chest.

Deeper inside the cave of the Messina camp, closer to the “Find Gennaro” mission marker, is another locked box on top of a table.

Close to the previous chest is the main camp area in the cave with a campfire and a newspaper. Here you find the third locked chest.

Not far from the previous chest is an elevated area with this chest.

Chapter 4 – Il Barone – Upper Camp

Exit the cave of Messina’s Lower Camp through the northern passage with the staircase. Follow the path up the mountain to the next camp area. Right here at the start, you will find the first locked box in Messina’s upper camp.

Follow the path until Enzo encounters Messina, triggering a fight. Once the battle concludes, you’ll discover a chest located in the initial combat area.

Go back to where the fight started. There is an elevated area where you can find another locked chest.

Chapter 5 – Vendetta D’Onore – Villa Ludovici

In Chapter 6: Vendetta D’Onore, Enzo has to infiltrate Ludovici’s villa to take revenge. Right past the main gate is this chest next to a body hiding box.

From the previous chest, cross the road (take care of the guards first, of course) and head towards a small gate, where you can find another locked box.

Continue on to get closer to Ludovici’s villa. In the side building is a workbench with the third locked chest and a Trinacria collectible.

The next box is inside the villa, in the entrance hall, on top of a table.

Chapter 6 – La Difesa Siciliana – Tannery

In Chapter 6: La Difesa Siciliana, Enzo visits the Tannery for a meeting. After the talk, stay in the tannery’s basement, where you can find a locked box next to a newspaper.

Chapter 6 – La Difesa Siciliana – Day Time

In Chapter 6: La Difesa Siciliana, there is a locked box at the northwestern gate of the Market Square.

Chapter 6 – La Difesa Siciliana – Night Time

At night, there is a chest on the south side of the Town Hall.

You’ll find this chest in the first room of the prison building, conveniently located near the entrance.

Giuseppe insists on retrieving his printing plates as well, which are located in the building across from the jailhouse – the Town Hall. In the first room is a chest with a Journal Note next to it.

The first safe is in the northeastern ground-floor corner office of the Town Hall. There is a locked chest on the desk.

The second safe is in the northeastern ground-floor corner office of the Town Hall. There is also a locked box in this room.

There is another locked chest in the upstairs dining room at the Town Hall building.

Chapter 7 – Spirito Sportivo

Chapter 7: Spirito Sportivo starts at a storage building by the water in Porto Almaro. Inside this warehouse is a locked box.

Follow Cesare and Leo outside to listen to them dreaming about winning the car race. The next-door garage will open, and you can enter to find this chest.

Chapter 8 – Disgrazia

In Chapter 8: Disgrazia, Enzo has to reach the forger in the basement of the Tannery. After the forger is found, look for two chests in the basement.

Later, Enzo finds the forger in the southwestern-most barn, where you can open this locked chest.

Chapter 9 – Industria

In Chapter 9: Industria, Enzo can enter the factory in Collezolfo. There is a locked box in the southwestern corner of the factory near the western factory entry point.

On the ground floor, inside the Collezolfo Factory, is a workbench with this chest.

Chapter 12 – La Forza del Destino – Crypt

In Chapter 12: La Forza del Destino, Enzo travels to Palermo to reach the opera’s Royal Box. After the deed is done, there is a shootout, and Enzo is following Spadaro into a crypt. After defeating all of Spadaro’s men in this tomb, look for this locked box before starting the Spadaro knife fight.

Chapter 13 – Capiregime

In Chapter 13: Capiregime, Enzo sneaks into an abandoned village in the forest to kill Mazzone. Here, just above the stream, is a locked chest.

There is a second locked box not far from the first one at the Abandoned Village.

Further ahead, there is a locked chest inside the ruined house.

In the area where Enzo finds Mazzone, there is also this box.
