1 – How to Get the Side Case

You can get this case from the Bulletin Board in the office. You can also open the “Check Request” App on your phone.

2 – Meet the Client at Meng Wu

Talk to the client inside the Meng Wu Restaurant in Chinatown.

3 – Investigate the Phantom Ramen Stall

Open up the Buzz Researcher App and search for the Phantom Ramen Stall. There are 3 case markers for this case on the map. When you go there, you will hear people talking about the Ramen Stall and find out that it only appears at night.

4 – Share Findings with Joe

Go back to Joe in the Meng Fu Restaurant and talk to him.

Tell him:
-> best guided by a cat.
-> only appears at night.
-> uses cats for broth.

Now it’s time to meet the cats. Find some nearby. You will hear them when close, but there is a cat marked on the map. Then you meet Nekomiya, a cat lover from the previous game. He’ll teach you about Feline Encounters. (that’s what the cat food in some shops is for.)

4 – Befriend a Cat

Go to the group of cats nearby and start naming one of them. You have to be patient and keep coming back. Interact with the two groups of cats you see (they are marked on the map). It’s best to pick a name always in the same position. Names don’t change position. So if you always pick the center, you don’t have to remember the names.

The cat spot resets after you move away for a bit. For example, in China Town, you can skate up and down the road and when you get back to the cats you can interact with them again.

5 – Find the Phantom Ramen Stall

Continue at night time. Right in front of Yokohama 99 a cat will approach you. Follow the cat to get to the Ramen Stall. Arriving there will close the case.
