How to Earn Kyber Bricks

Collect Kyber Bricks by completing the required tasks during the Hunk of Junk stage.

True Jedi Status

Earn these by gathering enough LEGO studs to fill the white, blue, and purple bars displayed onscreen, reaching “True Jedi” status. Destroy objects and structures around the level to maximize stud collection.

Story Completion Rewards

Complete the Story objectives, gather all five Minikits, and finish all Challenges to earn three additional Kyber Bricks.

How to Get the Minikits

Below is a step-by-step guide to finding all five Minikits in Hunk of Junk.

Minikit 1 – High Maintenance

Inside the hangar, locate an alcove with a frame where you can use the Net Launcher tool. Equip a Scavenger character, fire the nets, and climb to claim the Minikit.

Minikit 2 – Lost Property

Find the closed area with a red terminal. Use a Villain character to open it, then search the hangar for a Gonk droid. Ride the Gonk to the now-accessible area to power the machinery, producing the Minikit.

Minikit 3 – Secret Stash

Progress through the story until Stormtroopers descend via elevator. Repair the elevator, ride it up, and turn right to access a nearby room filled with boxes. Smash the boxes to uncover this Minikit.

Minikit 4 – Docking Bay Storage

Look for an orange Hero terminal in the hangar. Use it to open a gate leading to two large red boxes. Drag these boxes outside, and the Minikit will emerge.

Minikit 5 – Emergency Exit

Continue the storyline until you repair the elevator and fix the antenna. Once complete, all upper-floor doors unlock. Go through one of these doors to retrieve the Minikit inside.

How to Complete the Challenges

Follow this guide to complete the three Challenges in Hunk of Junk.

Challenge 1 – Absolute Scoundrel

“Use the environment to your advantage against the Stormtroopers.”

Take advantage of the environment against Stormtroopers. At the beginning of the level, use a Scoundrel (Han Solo or Chewbacca) to aim at the highlighted construct above Stormtroopers. Bring it down to complete the Challenge.

Challenge 2 – Don’t Get Cocky

“Defeat 3 Stormtroopers with hidden turrets.”

Activate hidden turrets to defeat three Stormtroopers. Locate and ride a Gonk droid to one of the docking points in the hangar to activate nearby turrets. Allow the turrets to take out the Stormtroopers, completing this Challenge.

Challenge 3 – Chewie, Get Us Out of Here!

“Find different ways of blocking the Stormtrooper reinforcements.”

To complete this challenge, you need to block the Stormtrooper reinforcements using three methods. The first step involves locating two Astromech terminals at the ground-level entrance doors. Use an Astromech droid to operate both terminals and seal the doors. Note that one of these terminals is blocked by scaffolding, which you must shoot down before gaining access.

The second task is to destroy objects in the alcoves on the ground floor. This will provide building options for either an electric barrier or a turret. Start by constructing the electric barrier. If it gets damaged, you can return later and rebuild the turret in its place.

Finally, proceed with the story until you activate the satellite dish. This will open the large gates on the upper floor, allowing more Stormtroopers to flood in. To prevent them from entering, use the Astromech terminal on the upper level to close these gates. Completing all of these steps will successfully finish the challenge.
