Crimson Desert: Nogle, the Trade Manager Quest Walkthrough

Starting the Quest

This quest is the second of seven for the Goldleaf Merchant Guild -> Extinguishing the Last Flames.

After talking to Shakatu at the Goldleaf Guildhouse for the Troubled Shakatu quest, he will send you to interrogate five guild members. Nogle is the first on the list.

Quest Description:
“Find evidence that confirms the activities of Nogle, the trade manager.”

Talk to Nogle

Nogle is also at the Goldleaf Guildhouse, not far from where Shakatu left you. He’s at a nearby tent. Talk to him. He will tell you that the trade routes are kept secret and that he only let them slip once, while having a drink with his friend Grimzle.

Examine the Tavern Ledger

Since Nogle had a drink with someone when he talked about the trade routes, let’s check the Tavern Ledger. It’s on one of the boxes in the same tent. Walk around it to the left to find it. Pick it up and examine it in your inventory. It’s a purple document.

The Tavern Ledger reads:
“Names: Nogle, Grimzle
Affiliation: Goldleaf Merchant Guild
Total: 50 Copper coins
Memo: Drank 10 bottles of wine at the innermost table.
– Dahlia, Hernand Inn”

Examine the Broken Barrel

The Broken Barrel is next to the tent. Not far from where the Tavern Ledger was.

Examine the Tax Notice

The Tax Notice is also nearby. It’s in the tent, at the bottom of the shelf. Take it and examine it. This will complete the investigation into Nogle.

The Tax Notice reads:
“Payer: Nogle
Guild Name: Goldleaf Merchant Guild
Amount Paid: 12 silver coins
Payment For: Guild dues, warehouse usage fee
Note: Payment must be made within 10 days of receiving the invoice.
– Goldleaf Merchant Guild”
