In Crimson Desert, Maintaining Focus is a Pororin Research Institute quest that becomes available after completing Herbs of Vitality and researching Natural Harmony. The quest focuses on observing a natural phenomenon and reporting your findings.
This walkthrough explains where to observe the southern waterfall, how to find the researcher northwest of the institute, and how to complete the quest to unlock new research options, including Medicinal Herbs.

Complete the Herbs of Vitality Quest for the Pororin Research Institute and research Natural Harmony. After its completion, two more quests in the Pororin Research Institute are unlocked:

Observe the Waterfall
Head to the southern waterfall and observe it when prompted.
Note:
There is a chest between the two waterfalls.
Share the Observation with the Researcher
Follow the road going northwest from the Research Institute to find the researcher. Talk to them to complete the quest.
