Joan’s Request is a short side quest in Crimson Desert that unlocks after completing A Rumor in Arboria Craftshop. Joan needs three Thin Hides to repair the handle of her worn axe.
You can get them by hunting small animals, slaughtering animals at the ranch, or buying them from the Tannery in Hernand. This guide shows you where to find Joan at the bonfire in the southwest of Howling Hill and how to hand over the hides to complete the quest and earn 3x Inventory Expansion.

Talk to Joan
Joan is by the new bonfire in the southwest of Howling Hill, together with Niall.
Get 3 Thin Hides
Joan requests three thin hides. There are many areas you can get thin hides from: Either from hunting small animals, slaughtering animals at the ranch, or buying them at the Tannery in Hernand.
Hand Over the 3 Thin Hides
Return to Joan and give her the 3 Thin Hides.
