The Empty Wagon quest in Crimson Desert is the final mission in the Strongbox with Wheels questline within the Greymane faction’s Scattered Embers storyline. After the events of Running Loot, your goal is simple: sell the stolen wagon and wrap up the questline.
In this guide, you’ll learn where to take the wagon, how the Wagon Fence system works, and the exact route to complete the quest quickly. Finishing Empty Wagon not only concludes this chain but also unlocks the next questline, Brightening the Spirits.

Completing these three quests will unlock the “Brightening the Spirits“ questline.
Starting the Quest
After having met with Yann at a crossroads near Hernand town and driven to Timberturner Wainwright in the previous quest “Running Loot”, Yann wants you to sell the stolen wagon.
Quest description:
“Yann mentioned a merchant willing to buy even questionable wagons. Sell the wagon to the fence to raise some funds.”
Ride the Stolen Wagon & Sell it.
Board the wagon at Timberturner Wainwright. This will start the “Wagon Fence” tutorial. Basically, you can steal a wagon and drive to a wagon fence and sell it there. Drive past the Halssius Apothecary and turn right at the next crossroads to reach the Wagon Fence. They will open the gates for you to drive in. This will complete the quest and the “Strongbox with Wheels” questline.
