This walkthrough covers Duncan’s Request in Crimson Desert, a Greymane faction commission that unlocks after finding Duncan in A Rumor in Calphade. Starting the Quest
Complete A Rumor in Calphade to find Duncan together with Luther, Terry, Falstaff, and Anders.
Quest description:
“Duncan asked for a fish caught in Pailune Lake, saying he wished to have Ronnie the cook prepare a nostalgic dish.”
Talk to Duncan
Duncan can be found near Ross, the Dispatch Coordinator at Howling Hill. Talk to him and listen to his request. He wants a fish from Pailune Lake.
Get Northern Pike
The Pailune Lake destination is in the far north, past Drakesfall Gorge. It’s near the Beighen Weavery and is more like a river than a lake.
When it comes to fishing, I still don’t like the mechanics:
1 – Equip the fishing rod.
2 – Cast the Line.
3 – Hook the Fish.
4 – Fight the fish until it’s tired (not splashing anymore).
5 – Reel it in.
Hand Over the Northern Pike
Return to Duncan and give him the Northern Pike.
