The Disturbance at the Arena quest in Crimson Desert begins the Daily Life questline after completing The Pot’s Use. What starts as a simple return to Howling Hill quickly turns into a rescue mission, as Yann gets himself into trouble at the arena.
In this guide, you’ll learn how to reach the arena, win all three fights using fists, and free Yann, along with the exact steps to complete the quest efficiently. Finishing this quest unlocks the next mission, Skilled in Archery.

Starting the Quest
You’ve learned how to use the Kuku Pot in the “Mysterious Pot” questline. This starts the new questline “Daily Life” in the fourth Chapter: The Price of Knowledge, with the quest: Disturbance in the Arena.
Quest Description:
“Business at the Kilnden workshop has been put to bed. Return to Howling Hill and get some rest.”
Return to Howling Hill
Andrew is waiting at the main tent. Talk to him when you’re there. Duane will come running, telling you that Yann’s in trouble at the fighting pits.
Follow Duane on horseback. You will ride to the west side of the arena.
Win 3 Times at the Arena
Of course, you’re the one who has to fight in the arena now. Open the radial weapons menu and pick the tool “Fists”. Then, talk to the host to start. Win three times.
Talk to the Arena Overseer
Return to Duane, and the cutscene will start where Yann is freed, and you can take Yann back to the camp. Ride your horse and wait for Yann to join you on your horse. Now you can ride back to Howling Hill. Returning will complete the quest and start “Skilled in Archery”.
