How Demiguise Statues Work

Demiguise Statues become interactive only during nighttime. Collecting these is linked to completing the quest “The Man Behind the Moons,” given by Gladwin Moon. This quest introduces you to the Alohomora spell and initially grants you Level 1 lockpicking. To upgrade to Level 2, you need to find nine statues. For the final Level 3 upgrade, you’ll need 13 additional statues. Planning your collection route is crucial to minimize backtracking and streamline your progress.

Demiguise Statue Locations at Hogwarts

Hogwarts hides ten Demiguise Statues. Here’s where to find them:

Professor Fig’s Office – Astronomy Wing

Locate this statue sitting on a desk inside Professor Fig’s office. Enter through the door in the back of his classroom.

Office at the Bottom of the Staircase – Astronomy Wing

Another statue is inside a locked Level 1 office at the base of the main staircase in the Astronomy Wing. Unlock the door to retrieve it.

Basement – Astonomy Wing

Explore the basement near the dragon statue. Pass through the first locked door in the Bell Tower Wing basement to find a statue.

Fortification Wall – Bell Tower Wing

A locked room along the fortification wall outside the Bell Tower Wing hides another collectible. Look for this room and use Alohomora to access it.

Beasts Classroom House – Bell Tower Wing

You’ll find this statue outside the castle, inside the professor’s house near the Beasts Classroom.

Locked Door Ground Floor – The Great Hall

Look for a locked door in the dining area of the Great Hall. Behind it, you’ll discover another statue waiting to be added to your collection.

Library: Restricted Area – Library Annex

This statue is part of the main quest. Head to the Restricted Section of the Library Annex and go down one floor to the dark section at the back.

Potions Class – Library Annex

Below the Potions Classroom, enter the Long Gallery. Inside, you’ll find this statue beyond a locked door.

Divination Classroom – Library Annex

Climb to the very top of the stairs above the Divination Classroom. On a desk, you’ll spot the statue.

Haunted Toilets – South Wing

Near the Portrait of Eldritch Diggory, the haunted toilets contain another collectible. Enter through a locked door to access this hidden treasure.

Demiguise Statue Locations at Hogsmeade

Hogsmeade offers nine statues spread throughout its picturesque village.

Eastern Side – Locked Level 1 House

On the far eastern side of Hogsmeade, a small locked house contains a statue. Find and unlock this house with Level 1 Alohomora.

Northeastern House – Locked Level 1 House

Close to the water, another locked house near the northeast corner has a statue. Use your lockpicking spell to uncover it.

Gladrag’s Wizardwear

Visit the shop known as “Dervish and Banges” near Gladrags Wizardwear. A statue sits right on the counter, waiting for collection.

Western Riverside

By the river on the west end of Hogsmeade, there’s a Level 2 locked house. Head upstairs to the second floor to collect the statue placed in the back of the room.

Hog’s Head Inn

Check the southern part of the village for the Hog’s Head Inn. Inside the backroom behind the bartender, you’ll locate another statue.

Southern Level 2 House

Explore the southern area of Hogsmeade, where you’ll find a Level 2 locked house. On its top floor, there’s another collectible.

Tomes and Scrolls

The Tomes and Scrolls shopkeeper’s bedroom hides a statue. Head to the back of the shop and look inside his private living space.

The Three Broomsticks

On the top floor of The Three Broomsticks, unlock a Level 1 door. Inside the room, there’s a statue near the fireplace.

House East of The Three Broomsticks

East of The Three Broomsticks lies a small home with a Level 1 locked door. Inside its upper floor, you can find this collectible.

Demiguise Statue Locations in the Highlands

The Highlands are home to the remaining statues, scattered across various villages and locations:

Aranshire

Near the Floo Flame in Aranshire, a Level 1 locked house contains a statue on its upper floor.

Bainburgh

Head to Bainburgh, where a statue is placed inside a house built along the northern mountain.

Brocburrow

Brocburrow features an unlocked home near its entrance. Inside, you’ll find one of the easier statues to collect.

Cragcroft

This hamlet hides a statue in an unlocked house next to the village shop.

Feldcroft

To the east of Feldcroft, a Level 2 locked house conceals a statue within its walls.

Irondale

Explore Irondale to find a statue in an unlocked home behind the main counter.

Keenbridge

The hills of Keenbridge hide a statue on the final house’s upper floor. Unlock it with Level 1 lockpicking.

Lower Hogsfield

Right at the entrance to Lower Hogsfield, an unlocked house contains another collectible.

Marunweem

A central round stone house in Marunweem contains a statue near large pots at the entrance.

Pitt-Upon-Ford

The tallest house in Pitt-Upon-Ford features a statue on its third floor.

Upper Hogsfield

Search the second unlocked house in Upper Hogsfield. You’ll discover the final statue alongside a treasure chest.

To make your collection process smooth, always switch to nighttime before hunting for Demiguise Moons. Use Floo Flame travel points to minimize travel time between locations.
