The Patterning is one of the collectible bundles in the Control Resonant Archives, with 5 documents in Central and Downtown, most of them around the Central Field Office. Here is where you find every one, in the same order as the in-game menu, including the report behind the Security Level 2 Keycard and the two Dr. Florez notes that only appear after the Power Lines story quest.

1 – Zone Conditions
Quest: Welcome to Manhattan
Location: Central Field Office
Collectible Category: The Patterning (1 of 5)
Description: A recommendation for the FBC to withdraw from West Incursion Zone.
Complete the Welcome to Manhattan quest to get the Security Level 1 Keycard. It unlocks the small office next to the personnel entrance of the Central Field Office. Zone Conditions is on the desk, next to a loot box.
2 – Pattern Barrier

Collectible Category: The Patterning (2 of 5)
Description: An FBC report on the Pattern Barrier that surrounds Manhattan.
In the center of Downtown, east of the vendor, is a crossroads with a checkpoint. Go up to the room on the top floor of the checkpoint to find the Pattern Barrier report.
3 – Incident Report: Pattern Barrier
Requires: Security Level 2 Keycard (Evacuation Procedures)
Location: Central: Konstig Gallery
Collectible Category: The Patterning (3 of 5)
Description: Speculation on the Pattern Barrier’s effects outside Manhattan.
South of the Central Field Office, at the personnel entrance, is a Konstig Gallery with a Security Level 2 lock. You get the keycard when you complete the main quest Evacuation Procedures (see the Evacuation Efforts Collectibles). The Incident Report: Pattern Barrier is inside the gallery.
4 – Notes On Pattern Victims
Quest: Power Lines
Location: Central
Collectible Category: The Patterning (4 of 5)
Description: Dr. Florez’s notes on patients who survived being Patterned.
Complete the story quest Power Lines and save the survivors and Dr. Florez in the subway (all 10 Subway Maintenance Collectibles are on the same quest). Dr. Florez then joins the Field Office and writes this report. Notes On Pattern Victims is in front of the ER Medical Unit.
5 – Notes On Ambient Patterning

Description: Dr. Florez’s notes on patients affected by ambient Patterning.
Notes On Ambient Patterning is the second document Dr. Florez writes once Dylan has saved her during Power Lines. It is on one of the desks below the Field Hospital, so you can pick it up together with Notes On Pattern Victims (4).
