Ascension Bluff Hijack Target:
Outrunner’s Heavy Armor
To retrieve the Outrunner with Heavy Armor, you’ll first need to open the nearby gate. The solution lies in following the power cable connected to the gate. Track it to its source and flip the switch. Once the gate is open, make your way to the parked vehicle and drive it to a Catch-A-Ride station to unlock it for future use.
Desolation’s Edge Hijack Target
This area in Borderlands 3 features two distinct Hijack Targets.
Desolation’s Edge Overview Map
Below is a Hijack Target overview map with their locations highlighted.
1. Cyclone Desolation’s Edge
First is the Cyclone, which is blocked by overgrowth. To claim it, destroy the overgrowth using your weapon to clear the way.
2. Outrunner Desolation’s Edge
Second is the shielded Outrunner. This one requires some precision shooting. Find a high vantage point near the shielded gate, and then locate the connected generators. You’ll need to shoot them in quick succession to disable the shield. Be quick, though, as the generators will restart if you’re not fast enough.
Devil’s Razor Hijack Target
The Devil’s Razor area presents two vehicles to find.

1. Outrunner’s Zip Wheels
First, you’ll encounter the Outrunner with Zip Wheels. This vehicle is perched on the roof of a structure, so climb your way up to claim it.
2. Technical’s Spike Wheels
The second one is the Technical with Spike Wheels. Reach it by scaling a house or jumping down from a nearby overhanging rock formation. Both Hijack Targets in Devil’s Razor demand some strategic movement, but the payoff is worth it. Once secured, these vehicles can be added to your collection at a Catch-A-Ride station.
Floodmoor Basin Hijack Target
Floodmoor Basin also hides two vehicle challenges.

1. Outrunner with Razor Wings
The first is an Outrunner featuring Razor Wings. It is located on a high platform, which requires a speed-enhanced vehicle to access. Use a Cyclone and boost your way onto the platform.
2. Cyclone with Wide Wheels
The second vehicle is a Cyclone with Wide Wheels. This one offers two options for retrieval. You can either jump from a logging camp directly onto the Cyclone or climb up onto the roof of the camp’s building and drop down beside the vehicle.
Meridian Metroplex:
Cyclone’s Sonic Booster
Here, you’ll find the Cyclone with a Sonic Booster. It’s locked behind a shielded passage. Follow the power cable and locate three targets. Shooting all three will disable the shield, granting you access to the Cyclone.
Meridian Outskirts Hijack Target
This one is more challenging due to its height. You’ll have to climb a series of structures, starting with a box or container. From there, look for an overhanging beam to boost yourself onto the next container where the vehicle is parked. With a bit of patience, you’ll reach it.
The Splinterlands Hijack Target
The Splinterlands holds one Hijack Target, the Technical with a Tire Launcher. This vehicle is locked inside a house that requires power to access. To restore power, head to the back of the house and figure out how to climb onto its roof. While the climb can be frustrating, persistence pays off.
Once on the roof, hit the power button, and the vehicle is yours for the taking.
By now, you’re well-equipped to track down all the Hijack Targets in Borderlands 3. From the crafty puzzles in Devil’s Razor to the vertical challenges of Meridian Outskirts, each Hijack Target adventure is a rewarding experience. Whether you’re a completionist or just looking to soup up your vehicle lineup, these challenges add a dynamic layer of fun to the game. Now that you know the hows and wheres, jump into Borderlands 3 and start making each Hijack Target your own.
