The Circle of Friends mission in Crime Scene Cleaner is the fourth mission of Act 2 and unfolds across a sprawling mansion complex packed with secrets, locked doors, and hidden passages. From the Delivery Area and Town Square all the way to the Wine Cellar and Crimson Shrine, there’s a lot of ground to cover, and just as much to uncover.
This walkthrough covers every area of Circle of Friends in order, with the location of all bodies, evidence, and cassette collectibles, plus where to find the three mysterious keys, how to open the red Hidden Memories door, and every other secret hidden inside Holden’s mansion.
Circle of Friends – Mission Details
“This is it, Mr. Kovalsky. We finally found the guy who was behind Dave, Lars, and dozens of other sick bastards across the state: the very respected Senator Holden. Lars led us straight to Holden’s enormous mansion, so we paid him and his friends a visit. And they had no idea what was coming!”

1 – Delivery Area
The Delivery Area is where the walkthrough begins, right where your truck is parked. It’s a small courtyard with an orange tree in the centre and a staircase leading to a door that’s locked from the other side, so the only way forward at the start of this Circle of Friends walkthrough is through the gate on the ground floor.
Enter and go through the sliding door to the right to find a water tap for the cleaning bucket.
There’s also a locked gate here with a body on the other side, which can only be opened from the back of the Service Area.
Also, a locked steel door with a window leading straight to the Wine Cellar.
The path to the right, past the water tap, leads on to the Town Square.

2 – Town Square
Coming from the Delivery Area, the Town Square is the second stop in this Crime Scene Cleaner walkthrough. It’s built around a tall, round fountain and is scattered with dirt and broken furniture.
A staircase at the back leads down to the Wine Cellar.
An unlocked wooden door takes you into the Smoke-Free Zone.
Between that door and the Wine Cellar staircase is a locked metal door with a window leading into the Garage.
In the backyard, near the dumpsters, you can destroy the boards covering a crawlspace to get into the Garage that way instead.
To clean the upper area of the Town Square, head through the Garage‘s upstairs window, cross the Employee Quarters balcony onto the Town Square’s upper ledges, then use those ledges to reach the Service Area window straight ahead.
ou can also reach the Employee Quarters and Service Area by heading left from the fountain.

3 – Smoke-Free Zone
The Smoke-Free Zone is a small, tidy storage area for flammable barrels, reached through an unlocked wooden door from the Town Square. Destroy the boards at the far end of the room to open a window with direct access to your truck.

4 – Garage
The Garage connects to the Town Square through a locked metal door that can only be opened from the inside, so to get in the first time, head to the Town Square’s backyard, find the barred crawlspace by the dumpsters, remove the boards, and crawl through.
There’s a water tap at the back for your cleaning bucket.
Upstairs, a door leads to a corridor connecting to the Service Area and Holden’s Mansion, though the Service Area side is blocked and has to be reached from the Town Square instead.
Also upstairs, open the window to climb to the Town Square roofs.
Also upstairs, a window opens onto the Town Square rooftops, which you can cross to reach the Employee Quarters.

5 – Employee Quarters
Exit through the Garage ‘s top-floor window to reach the Town Square rooftops, then cross over into the Employee Quarters.
This two-room area has a water tap in the washing machine room at the back, and its windows can be opened to toss trash straight down into the Delivery Area below.

Hidden Memories Key
On the Employee Quarters’ balcony, climb over the blue railing and go to the back.
Here is the Hidden Memories Key with some valuable items inside a bird’s nest. It opens the red door on the First Floor.

6 – Service Area
From the Garage ‘s top-floor window, cross the Town Square rooftops to the Employee Quarters, then use the ledges to reach the Service Area window and climb inside.
Turn left after entering to reach the back storage area and its water tap, then follow the winding staircase down to the gate leading into the Delivery Area, unlocking direct access to your truck.
Back in the kitchen, a service elevator runs down to the Wine Cellar, and the main Service Area entrance opens onto the corridor connecting to the Garage and Holden’s Mansion.

Behind the dining area, a dead-end corridor holds one of this Crime Scene Cleaner walkthrough’s key secrets: interact with the three paintings, the reddish-brown skull and goblet, Holden with glasses, and the brighter yellowish spear, to trigger a hidden passage lined with benches and a Cassette Collectible, EON Society – Red Temple.

8 – First Floor
Head upstairs from Holden’s Mansion’s dining room to reach the First Floor, a mezzanine overlooking the dining room below with several connected rooms.
A bedroom and study lead out to the Golden Terrace, home to the nearest water tap, and the study also holds the service elevator down to the Service Area and Wine Cellar.
There’s a bathroom on this floor too, with its own tap for the cleaning bucket.
Up a further staircase is the top-floor room, where a locked red door needs the Hidden Memories Key found in the Employee Quarters, and where a duck-topped coffin hides one of the mission’s cassette secrets behind five hidden ducks. This floor also holds the second of the three mysterious keys needed to open the Wine Cellar gate later on.

In the coffin room, there is a locked coffin with a duck on top. Find 5 ducks and hit them to open it. They will disappear once you’ve hit them. Hit the one on top of the coffin!

The third is inside the trunk by the entrance.
The fourth is in the bookshelf
The last is in the desk.
Now the coffin is unlocked, and the Cassette Collectible is yours.

9 – Golden Terrace
The Golden Terrace is reached from the bedroom and study on the First Floor, with a water tank tap nearby for the cleaning bucket.
A staircase here leads down to the Delivery Area door.
The third mysterious key for the Wine Cellar gate is hidden underneath a victim at the BBQ area, and the area’s Cassette Collectible, P.G.N. – Crumbs Collector, sits on the table by the centre greenhouse, next to a hatch back down into the Employee Quarters.

Reached via the stairs at the back of the Town Square, the Wine Cellar is worth saving for last in this Crime Scene Cleaner walkthrough, since opening its locked gate requires all three mysterious keys.
While cleaning, don’t skip the cobwebs, since clearing them reveals a hidden brick near three stacked barrels opposite the water tap. Interacting with the brick opens a secret passage by the nearby stairs, where a recording waits on the desk.
There’s also a tap for the cleaning bucket near the back, and a metal door leading straight out to the Delivery Area. Once you’ve collected all three mysterious keys, one from a victim in this room, one from the First Floor desk, and one from underneath the victim at the Golden Terrace, you can open the gate and continue on to the Crimson Shrine.
