Chapter 5: Days Gone By Walkthrough – Judgment

1 – Investigate Shintani’s Corpse

The chapter begins with an Active Search Mode in the office. Your first task is to “Investigate Shintani’s corpse.” Start by examining his head.

Then, investigate the area around the tie.

Investigate the body, then stop the investigation.

2 – Report to Genda

Mission Text:
“Shintani was murdered, probably by the Mole. The question is why, though. This’ll be hard to tell Genda-sensei…”

Visit Genda Law Office and speak with Genda. You’ll now have the option to rest at the office, as you’ll receive a key. The new junior member wants to talk to you – take this opportunity to show him what Shintani was working on before his death. Share Shintani’s Phone Log with him.

After the discussion, relax on the sofa and unwind.

3 – Head to Charles Arkade

Mission Text:
“Shintani’s last call was to the Advanced Drug Development Center. But why? I’ll meet Hoshino-kun at Charles and get started on the answer.”

Exit the office and prioritize rescuing the old man. Collect the Mugwort located behind the fence to assist him. Confront and defeat the gang. After the dialogue concludes, proceed to meet Charles.

4 – Head to the ADDC

Mission Text:
“Why did Shintani call them? I’ll have to go there myself to find the answer.”

Exit the arcade and head to the taxi. Once you arrive at the ADDC, proceed to the Reception Desk and follow Terasawa. Inside the room, you’ll enter Active Search Mode. Begin by examining the bed and checking the window, then investigate the entrance. Once you’ve completed your search, stop the investigation and leave the room. After the conversation that follows, continue to follow Terasawa.

In the garage, start by speaking with Shintani and then Terasawa. Terasawa will escort you back to the room, where you’ll have another conversation with her. Once done, let her know you’re finished to initiate the next dialogue.

At the Genda Office, explore the area briefly until the option to speak with Genda becomes available. During this interaction, you’ll need to present a piece of evidence – select “Victim’s Body Fluids.”

Afterward, chase the mysterious individual and prepare to face off against the thugs.

During the trial, present Waku’s hospital room hallway.

The correct response in the upcoming conversation is “Shono-san lied.” Following an extended cutscene, the story returns to the present, marking the beginning of Chapter 6: Collusion.
