1 – Meet with Higashi

Mission Text:
“The Kyorei Clan is bound to retaliate against the Matsugane Family. This could erupt into a full-scale war. I should hit the streets to find out more.”

As you step out of your office, a call redirects your course – your new destination is Genda Law Office. Upon arrival, you find yourself unexpectedly drawn into a theft investigation. Engage in the dialogue, then switch to Active Search mode to carefully examine the crime scene and uncover the clues.

2 – Search the sink

The trial begins: Demonstrate Mafuyu’s innocence in the missing cake incident by highlighting the Empty Trash Can as evidence.

Raise an objection to Mafuyu and direct attention to Saori’s Milk Carton.

Next, refer to the Notice of Power Outage. Conclusion: Nobody ate the cake. Genda-sensei will arrive to confirm this. Afterward, head to the Arcade (Charles) to finally meet Higashi.

2 – Head to the Beef Zone

Mission Text:
“How dare they take Kim-san hostage just to get to me!? I’ve literally got an office, guys. I’ve gotta hurry to Beef Zone on Nakamichi Street!”

Head to the Beef Zone Restaurant and face off against the big guy. Afterward, make your way to Genda Law Office to warn Shintani. Although Shintani is absent, Genda will assign you a new task titled “The Circle of Law.”

3 – Search for Azusa Otaki

Mission Text:
“Genda-sensei’s client is shopping for clothes. She’s probably wherever they sell fashionable stuff.”

Head to the “Le March” shop located at the southern edge of the map. Engage in a battle with the man wearing the white jacket to earn a new suit at no cost. Next, look for Karin and speak with the woman standing in front of the shop.

5 – Head to the Love Hotel

Mission Text:
“If Oikawa really duped this poor woman, I have to find the evidence. The sign in this picture says “Luna Blue Hotel.”

Head to the red circle marked on the map, locate the “Luna Blue Hotel,” and inspect the board indicated by the blue arrow.

Confront the thug to begin. Afterward, the receptionist will show you video footage. Use R1 to select the third photo, then examine the woman’s face carefully. Soon, the thug will return and destroy the laptop. A cutscene will transition you back to the Law Office.

When asked for proof of Karin’s true feelings, present the torn-up ticket. Shortly after, the receptionist from the Love Hotel arrives, offering to sell the footage for 100,000 yen. Purchase it and present the evidence to the lawyer. Meanwhile, Shintani returns to the office, and you’ll have the opportunity to speak with him.

Leave the office and pick up the call from Kaito.

6 – Head to Tender

Mission Text:
“Kaito-san is working on getting what Ayabe knows. I’ll meet them at Tender.”

Head over to Bar Tender, where the conversation begins as soon as you walk in. Select from the following questions to get started:
1 – How’s Kamurocho been lately?
2 – Why did the Kyorei Clan come to Kamurocho?
3 – What’s happening in the Matsugane Family right now?

7 – Head to KJ Art

Mission Text:
“So the Kyorei Clan has backing from the Kajihira Group, a construction company with connections between its president and the Ministry of Health. I need to look into this.”

Head to KJ Art and follow Kaito to the building’s rooftop to launch the drone. Murase can be found at a desk on the top floor. Guide the drone toward the windward side of the building for a better view. Then, defeat the clan members.

8 – Return to Yagami Detective Agency

Mission Text:
“So, we have mutual interests, Fumiya Sugiura. He wants Kajihira, I want the Mole. That was enough for today, though.”

Head back to the office, but along the way, you receive a phone call that redirects you to Tender. Once there, your task is to guess the woman’s occupation. Pay close attention to the color of her hair – it might hold the clue you need.

Then look at her necklace.

Next, look at her hand.

Last, look at her shirt.

You might think you can guess what it is, but chances are you won’t get it right. Instead, follow her. Once you arrive, change into your stakeout attire and continue tailing her. She’s heading to the casino at the Koi establishment. After your encounter with her, return to your office to trigger the beginning of Chapter 5: Days Gone By.
