Blades of Fire: Forger’s Anvil Locations The Royal Palace

The Royal Palace – Overview Map

There are 6 Forger’s Anvils at the Royal Palace in Blades of Fire numbered in the order of appearance.

1 – The Tidespawn Bridge

The Tidespawn Bridge Forger’s Anvil is the first one to encounter on The Royal Palace grounds after arriving from the Bastion.

2 – Abyssal Cells

After defeating Nerea in the story, you will end up at the Abyssal Cells Forger’s Anvil.

3 – Mausoleum

From the Abyssal Cells Forger’s Anvil, you can make your way to the center corridor, where you can break through into the main building. Here you can use a lever to open the passage to the east. Defeat a Sanguine Lord for the blood key and open the gate. At the top of the tower, you can enter the Mausoleum, where you will find this Anvil

4 – Throne Room

From the Mausoleum Anvil, take the winding staircase down to the lower level. Exit to the west, where you can enter the same building where the Abyssal Cells Anvil is. Here, you can use a lever to open the gate to this building. You can go get a rest at the Abyssal Cells Anvil now.

From the previous lever, you can go downstairs. Here you can fight Sanguine Lords for another blood key that opens the gate to the west. This passage leads to the upper floor of the throne room and the Throne Room anvil. There are two elevator shafts with no elevators. You can power up the elevators at the next Forger’s Anvil, the Balcony of Oblivion.

5 – Balcony of Oblivion

From the Mausoleum Anvil, take the winding staircase down to the lower level. Exit at the lower level, head to the western tower, then cross over again towards the Mausoleum. Here lies Nerea. An elevator here will take you to a Novice Statue. If you don’t have the Novice’s flute, get it from the Statue in Tok’s Kingdom. Place the flute at the statue to open a passage to the southern tower, where you can use a lever to open a passage.

From this lever, head down and cross over to the west to find the Balcony of Oblivion Anvil. It is just above the Abyssal Cells Anvil.

6 – Palace Harbour

From the Balcony of Oblivion, take the southwestern path to a rope that you can climb up and a gap in the railing, where you can drop down to a staircase. Drop down to the staircase and defeat the Sentenzas and the Sanguine Lord with the key in the next room. Here you can also use a lever to open the gate to two templars and to a shortcut leading back to the Balcony of Oblivion anvil.

Now with the Blood key in hand, you can open the gate to the west, across the bridge. Here is the elevator that goes down to the Throne Room. Take the elevator to the Throne Room.

Once you’ve taken the elevator and exited at the Throne Room Anvil, you will notice that the second elevator at the Throne Room is functioning as well. Take it down to reach the Palace Harbour Anvil.
