Blades of Fire: Forger’s Anvil Locations The Iron Castle

The Iron Castle- Overview Map

There are 3 Forger’s Anvils at the Iron Castle in Blades of Fire numbered in the order of appearance.

1 – Iron Castle Entrance

This is the first anvil just by the entrance of the Iron Castle. It is in the Besacarr Hamlet region, but the main anvil to go to while chasing Aecides around in the Iron Castle.

2 – Aecides Chapel

Reaching the Aecides Chapel requires some effort, but it’s worth it once you get there. First, enter the castle and defeat Aecides in the central courtyard. After you defeat him, a swarm of flies will appear and head toward the southern tower. Follow them and look for a door at the top of the tower. Interacting with the door will trigger a cutscene showing how Aecides is eating imprisoned villagers to regain his strength.

After Adso leads the imprisoned villagers to safety, return to the courtyard to face Aecides again. Once you defeat him, the flies will head to the northern tower. Go to the northern tower and find a group of soldiers carrying the North Tower Key. Use the key to unlock a door in the North Tower and then return to the courtyard. This time, a Templar will appear. Enter the western building and head down to the torture chamber, where you’ll need to chase some Vexxers to find a crank/lever to open a nearby gate. Once you’ve used the lever, take it with you and follow the path into a room missing a lever. Place it there to lift Adso up in a cage. Then, go through the crack in the wall nearby to reach the Aecides Chapel anvil.

3 – Sealed Dungeons

For the Sealed Dungeons anvil, look for a crack in the outer wall of the eastern tower to reach this Light Rune. Make sure the weapon you present has a light rune imbued. The Sealed Dungeons anvil is behind the wall. Nearby, downstairs, is a Nerea’s Tears Statue. Look for a Templar in this dungeon. He carries the ancient key to the statue.
