Location: Kinglor Nest at the top of the Hometree, then northwest outside the Hometree
Quest Step: Talk to Etuwa in the Kinglor Nest

To begin the quest, return to the Kinglor Nest at the top of the Hometree. Follow the ramp inside the tree until you reach the highest point.

Etuwa isn’t there. Instead, Ka’nat is waiting, one of the Na’vi who mocked you when you first arrived at the Hometree. He apologizes for his behavior and tells you that Etuwa is outside the Hometree in the northwest. With guidance turned off, you have to find her using this hint. Otherwise, her location is marked on the map.

You find Etuwa and Nefika together. They want you to connect with the Kinglor Queen to find out why she is sheltering in the Hometree. Nefika tried before but couldn’t understand what the Queen needs. As a Na’vi who grew up with the Sky People, you might have more success.

To connect with the Queen, you have to let her sting you, which is deadly. To revive you afterwards, Etuwa and Nefika need you to bring them Swamp Hive Nectar first.

Quest Step: Gather Swamp Hive Nectar

Gathering in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is quite complex. Before you can gather the Swamp Hive Nectar, you have to find out which biome it grows in.

Open the game menu and go to the Hunter’s Guide. The Swamp Hive is listed under Wildlife. Select it to see the details.

The details show that the Swamp Hive is most commonly found in the Swamp Lowlands biome of the Silk Woods in the Kinglor Forest.

Location: Swamp Lowlands biome, Silk Woods, southwest of the Hometree at the Threaded River
Quest Step: Gather Swamp Hive Nectar

Open your map and find the Silk Woods and the Swamp Lowlands biome. They are southwest of the Hometree at the Threaded River. Click the map to enlarge.

Head there and search the swamp for a Swamp Hive. The hives hang on the trees in the swamp. Gather the nectar from one hive once you find it.

Location: Glade of Light, Big Leaf biome directly west of the Hometree
Quest Step: Bring the Swamp Hive Nectar to Etuwa and Nefika

Etuwa and Nefika are waiting for you at the Glade of Light. With guidance turned off, look for a rock pillar covered in willow trees in the Big Leaf biome directly west of the Hometree. Otherwise, the location is marked on the map.

Etuwa has brought the Kinglor Queen with her, and they start the connection as soon as you arrive.

Location: Glade of Light, inside the Kinglor Queen’s memory
Quest Step: A Queen’s Vision

When you connect with the Queen, you relive what happened to her as if you were the Kinglor Queen. The controls are shown on the left side of the screen. Use the sticks to steer and adjust your speed. On PS5, press X and Circle to ascend or descend.

Fly out of the shelter and down the corridor of trees. Along the way you see shimmering sparks with moths flying around them. Fly through the sparks to collect and save the moths. Keep following the path and collecting moths until you reach a lake with a waterfall and a tree on the center island. The moths stay at the tree, but you follow the path to the right of the waterfall.

Just ahead is another group of moths. You have to collect all the moths in one area to move on. Follow the path to the RDA equipment that sends out energy waves. The waves close the flowers the moths rely on for food. Fly around the equipment and continue on the path to the right.

Keep collecting moths in the shimmering clouds. Fly through a canyon and out the other side, where you spot Etuwa. Land on her hand. This is how the Queen first met Etuwa.

When you wake up, Nefika gives you the nectar to eat, and you tell them what you saw. To stop the energy bursts, you have to shut down the high-altitude RDA devices, and you can’t reach them without an Ikran. Getting one is your next goal in Take Flight.
