All 71 Field Notes Discoveries in Gizeh Indiana Jones

The Gizeh Field Notes Discoveries Quest in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle includes 71 Field Notes. While you don’t need to collect them all to progress in the story, completionists will want to track down every single one. Here’s a full list, organized by map or alphabetically.

Helpful Disguises

Finding disguises and using them makes it easier to collect the Field Notes in Gizeh. They are even needed! So, before I start with the Field Guides, here’s where the disguises in Gizeh are and what they do when you wear them.

Digsite Outfit

The Digsite Outfit disguise is located at the Waterstation on the east side of the Khentkawes Dig Map – the excavation in the south. You can find it during the “Secret of the Queen Mother” Fieldwork Quest.

The Digsite Outfit should be worn right after finding it. It will allow you to move around without being noticed in non-restricted areas. You still have to be careful not being detected by high ranking officers.

Wehrmacht Uniform

You can find a Wehrmacht Uniform in the tower near the Temple excavation, just north of Gizeh Village. To access the tower, go to the back and use the whip to get to the ledge. Walk along the ledge to the front of the tower and climb inside. The uniform is located on the ground floor, and you’ll also receive the “Wehrmacht Key” when you pick it up.

Wearing a Wehrmacht uniform changes the game completely. It allows you to access restricted areas with minimal resistance and unlock rooms that need a “Wehrmacht Key.” However, as always when in disguise, be cautious around high-ranking officers.

Ancient Caves

There is only one Field Note in the Ancient Caves. You can get to the Ancient Caves through the Chamber of Resonance in the west of the map.

Khafre Dig Site

Khafre Dig Site is in the northwest of the Gizeh map, just west of the Nazi Compound. Either sneak or use the Wehrmacht Uniform. The choice is yours.

Adamic Tablet

In the Fieldwork Quest “A Savage Predicament,” Indiana eventually finds Sidney at the Khafre Excavation Site. At the spot where Sidney is located, you can photograph a table on the wall.

Airship Document

The top-secret document is located at the beginning of the Gizeh chapter. You’ll find it on the airship, in the first room to the left. However, it seems there’s no way to return to the airship for now—maybe later.

Asmaa

In Gizeh Village, take a photo of Asmaa, who sells a lighter and books. Asmaa is the Gizeh answer to the Vatican’s Ernesto. Asmaa definitely has more fire…!

Assignment Letter

On the ground floor of the Nazi compound, you’ll find a desk with this letter on it.

Camels

Photograph the camels near Gizeh Village.

Carpet Merchant

In Gizeh Village, there’s a carpet merchant. Don’t forget to take a picture!

Code Letter

The Code Letter can be found in the Nazi Vehicle Garage, located in the red restricted area at the center of the Gizeh map. It reveals that the code for the nearby truck’s lockbox is 0805. Open the lockbox to collect one of the steles required for “The Idol of Ra” and for the “Belongs in a Museum” Discoveries Quest.

Code Note

In the large Nazi compound north of Gizeh, go to the second floor—the one with the big Gizeh model in the center. You’ll find a note on the table at the back of the room. This note contains the combination for the safe located in the room directly below. Combination: 40926

Code Note 2

A second Field Note, called “Code Note,” can be found at the Khafre Excavation site in the east, near the pyramid. Look for a small building that requires the Wehrmacht Key to enter. Inside, you’ll find the note, which includes a hint for unlocking the lockbox in the same room. While you’re there, take a photo of the “Winning Hand” cards on the table to collect another Field Note.

The cards on the table show Ace-3-2-Ace-8.
Therefore the combination for the nearby lockbox is 1 3 2 1 8.

Conveyor Belt View

At the Funerary Temple of Khafre Dig Site, take the conveyor belt to the top and snap a photo from there.

Crashed Bulldozer

Take a photo of the Crashed Bulldozer located north of the worker’s camp. While you’re there, check for an opening nearby—it leads to one of the Artifacts needed for the Lost Artifacts of Africa Quest.

Date Harvesting

Take a photo of the farmers harvesting dates west of Gizeh Village.

Disappearance Report

This report can be found in Voss’ office at the Nazi Compound.

Dr. Kafour

Locate Dr. Kafour’s tent at the worker’s tent. This shop functions like the Vatican Pharmacy, where you can purchase books resembling medicine bottles. Both Valeria at the Vatican and Dr. Kafour sell the same six books: Moxie 1-3 and Shaping Up 1-3.

Climb to the southern peak terrace of the Khentkawes Dig Site and take a photo of the southern dunes.

This document is located at the beginning of the adventure in Gizeh. You’ll find it on the coffee table in the blue tent where Indy first meets Nawal.

In the northeast corner of the Nazi Compound, you’ll find a wooden building with open doors. Inside, there’s a table with a medicine bottle on it.

Horror Tales #1

The first Horror Tales issue is located in the western area of the workers’ settlement in southeast Giseh. Look for a tent with the comic placed on a table.

Horror Tales #2

You can find this comic book at the Waterstation on the Khentkawes Dig Map. It’s accessible during the “Secret of the Queen Mother” Fieldwork Quest.

Khafre’s Pyramid

Take a picture from in front of the Khafre Pyramid. It’s the pyramid to the west of the map. Learn your history, kids!

Khetkawes Mural

During the “Secret of the Queen Mother” Fieldwork Quest at Khetkawes Digsite, follow the red cable inside the tomb to find the power generator. Once there, pull the lever to turn on the light. After that, you’ll be able to take a photo of the mural.

Khufu’s Pyramid

Capture a photo of Khufu’s Pyramid from the west side of the Sphinx.

Klebér’s Letter

Klebér’s Letter can be found just next to Professor Omar near the Khetkawes digsite. Here, you will start the Fieldwork Quest “Secret of the Queen Mother”.

Kozra Letter

Head to the Khentkawe’s Digsite Map and enter the tomb from the top, where a guard is sleeping in a pit with a medicine bottle. Drop down into the entrance, and you’ll find the letter next to an Egyptian statue.

Margaret Portrait

Margaret Murray’s sketch is on the desk in Nawal’s blue tent at the worker’s camp.

In the story, Gina and Indiana infiltrate the Nazi compound and must climb to the top of a tower to reach Voss’ office. Before entering the office, they find Marya’s Letter on a piece of furniture nearby.

West of Khentkawes Dig Site, take a picture of the smallest pyramid in the distance.

Behind the Sphinx, you’ll find a medicine bottle needed for the “A Remedy for All” discoveries quest. There’s also a crawlspace on the right side of the room. In the first room after the crawlspace, you’ll find a journal page on the right.

As you climb the tower to reach Voss’ office, take a moment to snap a picture of the Nazi Compound from the top.

Numeral Basics

North of the Khentkawes Dig Site, you’ll find a camp. Inside the main building, there’s a locked room, but you can access it through an open window at the back. Inside, you’ll find a lockbox and two mystery notes, including the Numeral Basics Field Note. The translation is right next to it. The lockbox code is 3262. This is the lockbox you can open with the cipher you find at the Thief’s Promise Mystery Quest.

Includes an ancient relic for the Riddles of the Ancients Discoveries quest.

In the southeast area of the map, you’ll find a wall structure. Climb it and head to the dead end, where you’ll find this page.

Osiris

Before feeding the snake Osiris in the blue tent during the Gizeh adventure, take a photograph of it. Feeding Osiris is part of the story.

Go to the northwest of Gizeh Village to find the Oud Master and take a picture.

Parked Car

Take a photo of the parked car in Gizeh Village. Nearby, you’ll find a Lost Artifact of Africa needed for the Discoveries quest. There’s also a truck parked here—climb onto the cargo bed to pick up the Lost Artifact.

Temple Entrance

In “The Idol of Ra” Story Adventure, you and Nawal will explore a temple after infiltrating the Nazi compound in the northern Gizeh map. Start by taking a photo of the temple entrance. Inside, search for one of the Lost Artifacts of Africa, which is part of the Discoveries Quest with the same name. You’ll find it on top of the scaffolding to the right.

The Blue Tent

When Indiana reaches the Gizeh dig site, he and Gina climb a hill so he can take a photo to mark the spot of Gina’s contact. This is a simple and important part of the story. While you’re here you can also take a picture of the Gizeh Vista.

The Bridge Cavern

After solving the “Three-Eyed Gate” puzzle in the Ancient Caverns, Indy can snap a picture of the cavern. The Ancient Caverns access point is at the Chamber of Resonance in the west of the Gizeh map.

At the worker’s camp, look for a tent with a red box inside. You’ll find this article on top of the box.

Weather Station

Take a photo of the Weather Station located at the center of the Gizeh map. You can complete the Cloud Atlas Mystery here and open the lockbox.

Winning Hand

At the Khafre Excavation site to the east, near the pyramid, you’ll find a small building that requires the Wehrmacht Key. Take a photo of the cards on the table inside. Nearby, there’s a Code Note that provides a hint for unlocking the lockbox. Hint: The code is 13218.
