Animus Anomaly: Needles

The Needles, located at the western tip of the Isle of Wiht, presents an Animus Anomaly. Solve the light beam puzzle by carefully navigating the platforms, adjusting their positions, and timing your movements. Completing this rewards a fragment of the Animus mystery storyline.

Cairn

You’ll find a Cairn challenge at Heald Tor. Stack stones successfully to meet the height requirement. Take your time balancing each piece to prevent toppling.

Fly Agaric

At Egbert’s Stone, you’ll encounter a Fly Agaric challenge. After consuming a mushroom, a combat trial begins. Prepare to defeat the enemies that spawn to complete this challenge.

Flyting: Fenn the Wistful

North of Wincestre, you can test your wit against Fenn the Wistful in a Flyting duel. Choose clever and rhyming responses to win.

Legendary Animal: Wildcats of the Weald

This Legendary Animal fight involves two lynx in The Dark Weald. These agile opponents require quick dodges and precise attacks. Use ranged weapons to create distance or bring heavy armor to endure strikes during close combat.

Standing Stones

There are two Standing Stone formations in Hamtunscire.

Aveberie Megaliths

The Aveberie Megaliths are a puzzle where you must align ancient symbols. Climb onto a high stone in the area and look east to match the design. Finding the correct spot aligns the symbols and completes the Mystery.

Stonehenge

At Stonehenge, align the symbols by standing at the correct spot. Position yourself in the middle of the iconic stone circle and face north-northwest to make the markings match.

Treasure of Britain

There are 2 Treasure of Britain locations in Hamtunscire.

Red Lichen Cavern

This cavern features a Treasure of Britain collectible and a straightforward environmental puzzle. Keep an eye out for white markings to find your way through. Use fire to safely clear poison gas when you encounter it.

Wocig

Travel north of Chepeham to Wocig and enter the cave. Navigate through its winding paths until you reach a boat. Use it to cross the water and find steps leading to another path. Follow white painted markings across a wooden plank. Burn oil jars by lighting a torch, which opens a new passage to the Treasure of Britain.

Fighting Faith

West of Wincestre, you’ll meet a man who insists on testing his faith in combat. Accept the fight and defeat him to complete the Mystery.

Splitting Hares

Speak to the woman near the field in Fearnhamme. She asks for your help in clearing rabbits from her crops. Use your bow and focus on scanning the area to spot glowing blue rabbits. Shooting from a high vantage, like the roof, helps immensely. If the final rabbit doesn’t appear, reload your save to fix the bug.

The Arrow in the Tree

At Heald Tor, talk to the man lamenting the loss of his arrow. Climb up to a high overhanging branch, which doubles as a Leap of Faith spot. Kill the lynx guarding the arrow, retrieve it, and return it to the man.

The Devil has all the Best Tunes

Speak to the musician in this event. After agreeing to a drinking challenge, you’ll ultimately engage the singer in a fight. Defeat your opponent to complete the task.

We are all Monsters

North of the Red Lichen Cavern, you’ll find a man fighting a bear. Help defeat the bear, then speak to the man to conclude the event.
