Location of the Essexe Hoard Map
To begin your adventure, head to Sancta Helena’s Church in Colcestre, Essexe. Once you reach the church grounds, you will notice that the Treasure Hoard Map is located high up in the tower, but the door providing access to it is locked. To retrieve the key, search outside the church at ground level. You’ll spot a movable shelf. Push it aside to reveal a window that has been smashed. Crawl through this opening, and inside you’ll find the key needed to unlock the door. With the key in your possession, return to the locked door and make your way inside the church.
Once inside, the map is still out of reach. To climb higher, find a second movable shelf and place it beneath a ladder that seems too high to access. Use the shelf to climb up and reach the next level. At this point, you’ll notice another ladder hanging too far above. Aim carefully and shoot it down to create a path to the top floor of the tower. Ascend this ladder, and at the peak of the church, you’ll finally retrieve the Essexe Treasure Hoard Map.
With the hoard map in hand, examine it to decipher the riddle it contains. The map clue states, “To the south of Essexe, your eyes must train themselves away from the tower built by Roman giants, through the green fur of nature, a sacred marking made by three skins of trees in a circle of plants.” This offers a clear hint that your treasure lies south of Essexe, nestled in nature.
