The “A Free Spirit” Mystery in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle begins when you pick up a leaflet from the info board located on the east side of the map.
The Mystery text is as follows:
“Father Bianchi has lost his cat. Better keep an eye out for this spectacular black satin-haired wonder of nature.”
The secret’s out—there’s a reason why there are cats meowing all around the Vatican. Your mission is to find and photograph them. The black satin-haired cat is the winner, earning you 100 Adventure Points.
A Free Spirit Mystery – Cat Locations
You might have already found and photographed a few cats, assuming they were part of the Field Notes Discoveries Quest—but they’re not. To help you out, here’s a list of all the A Free Spirit Mystery Cat locations, organized alphabetically:
Black & White Cat
Speak to Valeria at the Vatican Pharmacy. You may have already done this during the “A Remedy for All” Fieldwork Quest. She will get rid of the Black & White Cat, and after the cutscene, you’ll find the cat in the center of the Pharmacy courtyard.

Brown Cat
Climb up the scaffolding in the small park east of Belvedere Courtyard to find a Brown Cat.

Orange Cat
The Orange Cat is just north of the Apostolic Palace and east of Belvedere Courtyard, on the top of the dead-end alley shed.

Signor Smushki
The Black Cat that Father Bianchi is searching for can be found on the rooftops, just above the gate to the Belvedere Courtyard.

White Cat
Climb up to the roof from the Orange Cat’s position and find the White Cat sitting on a chimney.

Pin the Photograph to the Flyer
Go to the info board on the east side of the map and attach the photograph to the Flyer that started this Mystery Quest. This will complete the quest and earn you 100 Adventure Points.
