How to Replay a Mission

In case you didn’t find all collectibles in the first story playthrough, don’t worry. You can still get it. Play the story to Mission 6: Shreck’s Department Store, where you restore the Batcave.

Then, travel to the Batcave and interact with the computer at the top, next to the red batphone. Here you can select the mission you would like to play again.

You will also see the status. If the box is ticked: Congratulations, you’ve found all the collectibles in this mission. If not, there is still work to be done!

Batcave Trophy: Venus Fly Traps

Find and destroy 5 Venus Fly Traps in Poison Ivy, Mission 12, to receive the Batcave Trophy: Venus Fly Traps. Each adds up to the total of 170 Trophy Collectibles. Therefore, you will have 5 of 170 Trophy Collectibles after destroying all five Venus Fly Traps.

Here’s where they are:

Red Brick: Flower Power

After the section with the strawberry-eating plants, you will come across a locked door again, which Batman can open with the Bat Claw. Don’t open it yet. Enter the greenhouse next to the closed door and conduct the experiment to receive the Flower Power Red Brick.

WayneTech Caches

There are five WayneTech Caches hidden in Mission 12: Poison Ivy. Here’s where:

Go to the Botanical Gardens

First stop is the botanical gardens at the Gotham Village Robinson Park district.

Mission 12: Poison Ivy has a quick start, with few activities in the open world. It continues right after destroying the plant in Mission 12: Kite Man.

Investigate the Botanical Gardens

At the start of the story mission, Batman and Robin are trapped in the Botanical Gardens. Inspect the tape recorder on the counter.

Pick up the plant next to the door and put it on the socket where the green water drips down. The plant will grow, and you can climb out.

Batcave Trophy: Venus Fly Traps 1 of 5

After escaping the previous room, look up to the right from where you land, and you will see the first collectible, a Venus Fly Trap. Destroy it to collect it.

WayneTech Cache 1

In the same area, there are golden studs behind the waterfall. Suspicious! Use Batman’s Bat Claw to pull the yellow plug above the waterfall. This will pull a rock into the water, opening a passage in the waterfall. Follow the path inside to find a WayneTech Cache.

To continue with the mission, look for the potted plant you can place on the socket as before. But this time, there is no green drip to be seen. Move the nearby vine curtain with Robin’s Cable Launcher.

In the room, use Robin’s staff as a lever to release the green growth liquid onto the potted plant. Climb the grown plant to get to the door.

There is a blue stud to the left of the door, together with another recording. Then, pry the door with Robin’s staff. This will take you to a corridor with double doors at the end.

Destroy the 3 Plant Pods

As in Mission 11: Kite Man, you have to destroy the three pods before you can use the Plant Spray on the main plant. Destroy the big plant and the exploding plants to continue. You can then go through the open door into the next area with enemies below.

Hint: You can’t destroy the pods while there are still explosive plant pots around.

Batcave Trophy: Venus Fly Traps 2 of 5

The second Venus Fly Trap is just below you, where all enemies accumulate. Batman eagerly jumped ahead and destroyed it while fighting the enemies without me even seeing it.

› camzillasmom.com

After defeating all enemies, look for the yellow plug on the door and use Batman’s Bat Claw on it to open it. This will release another wave of enemies. Then you can now go through the door. Destroy the pod before talking to Bella Garten.

WayneTech Cache 2

After talking to Bella Garten, make sure to shoot those three plants next to her with Robin’s Birdarang from left to right! They will open a passage to the WayneTech Cache above.

Find Dr. Isley’s Lab

Robin can now pry the door behind Bella to find Dr. Isley’s Lab. The bottom of the next room is toxic, but there are plenty of anchor points for Robin’s Cable Launcher. This will pull a leaf near, and you can walk on it.

While standing on the leaf, connect it to the next anchor point, and the two will move together. Keep doing this until you are on the leaf at the center.

Batcave Trophy: Venus Fly Traps 3 of 5

While standing on the center leaf in the screenshot above, you can look down and shoot the third Venus Fly Trap.

Continue the story by connecting the last two anchor points with the Cable Launcher and pulling the center leaf to the exit door. Defeat all enemies in this area.

The third recording is next to the plant pod.

WayneTech Cache 3

Before continuing with the story, have a look around the corner. There is a WayneTech Cache here! Careful! The plant next to it will explode!

› camzillasmom.com

To continue with the story, use the Cable Launcher to pull the strawberries ahead towards the plant in the center. They will close and form a path. Two flesh-eating plants follow. With those, you just have to be quick when traversing. Keep doing this until you reach the end of the path.

Next is a section with a plant pod and some big exploding plants ahead. If you go up that little alcove to the right, you will find a purple stud.

Batcave Trophy: Venus Fly Traps 4 of 5

The fourth Venus Fly Trap is right next to the door ahead.

Red Brick: Flower Power

Opposite of where the last Venus Fly Trap was/is, is a greenhouse with the Red Brick inside. Put the red and the dark green plant onto the sockets to get access to the Red Brick.

› camzillasmom.com

Continue to find Dr. Isley’s lab by pulling the door open with Batman’s Bat Claw.

› camzillasmom.com
› camzillasmom.com

The next corridor is full of spikey tentacles and big explosive plants. Look closely! There are two suspicious golden studs!

› camzillasmom.com
› camzillasmom.com

WayneTech Cache 4

Just after avoiding the first tentacle, look back and down to see the fourth WayneTech Cache in this mission.

› camzillasmom.com

Continue to follow the path ahead, avoiding the tentacles and exploding plants.

› camzillasmom.com
› camzillasmom.com

The door ahead will be destroyed, so you have to take the more treacherous route through the flesh-eating plants and tentacles. Stop at the safe island in the middle.

› camzillasmom.com
› camzillasmom.com

WayneTech Cache 5

In the middle of this treacherous path is a safe haven, firm ground. Look back and up to see a vine curtain that you can pull back with Robin’s Cable Launcher. The window below will burst, and you can grapple inside to find the last WayneTech Cache of this mission.

› camzillasmom.com
› camzillasmom.com

After grabbing the last WayneTech Cache, go ahead and survive the second stretch of the flesheating-tentacle plants’ path to reach a vine curtain. Pull it away with Robin’s Cable Launcher.

Find the Lab Entrance

You’ve arrived in a big, round room with a car hanging in the tree in front of you. Shoot all three targets with this car to get its parts down. There is also a recording next to the plant pod here.

› camzillasmom.com
› camzillasmom.com

There is a box with a yellow plug. Switch to Batman to pull it open with Bat Claw. Destroy everything. This should get you enough parts to build a LEGO harvester. Drive it to destroy the plants at the lab entrance. Make sure to get all of them! There is a Venus Fly Trap and a Purple Stud!

› camzillasmom.com

Batcave Trophy: Venus Fly Traps 5 of 5

While driving the harvester, make sure to destroy all the plants around the entrance. There is also the last Venus Fly Trap amongst them at the back!

Defeat Poison Ivy

Defeat Poison Ivy in the first round. In the second round, you will fight her Snapdragon. Dodge its attacks until it either drops a yellow plug or opens the mouths. Pull it with Batman’s Bat Claw or pull the heads together with Robin’s Cable Launcher. Attack it until it fights again. Repeat this to defeat the two.
