Mission 8: Flugelheim 100% – LEGO Batman Legacy Guide

The Joker’s trail leads straight to Gotham’s most prestigious museum in Mission 8: Flugelheim in LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight. This 100% guide walks you through every open-world prerequisite – cracking safes at the Junkyard, cleaning up at the GCPD, and taking down the Condiment King – before breaking into the Flugelheim itself with Batman and Catwoman. You’ll find every collectible along the way: all 5 Boomboxes and the Red Brick: Artist.

Apart from the yellow Skill Brick at the end of the mission, you can find 5 Boom Boxes for the Batcave Trophy and the Red Brick: Artist.

How to Replay a Mission

In case you didn’t find all collectibles in the first story playthrough, don’t worry. You can still get it. Play the story to Mission 6: Shreck’s Department Store, where you restore the Batcave.

Then, travel to the Batcave and interact with the computer at the top, next to the red batphone. Here you can select the mission you would like to play again.

You will also see the status. If the box is ticked: Congratulations, you’ve found all the collectibles in this mission. If not, there is still work to be done!

Batcave Trophy: Boomboxes

Find and destroy 5 Boomboxes in Mission 8: Flugelheim to receive the Batcave Trophy: Boomboxes. Each adds up to the total of 170 Trophy Collectibles. Therefore, you will have 5 of 170 Trophy Collectibles after destroying all five Boomboxes.

Here’s where they are:

Red Brick: Artist

In Mission 8: Flugelheim, you have to find two Joker Heads to get past a Security Door to reach the vault. The Red Brick: Artist is just above one of the Joker heads. Send a Kitty through the Kitty vent, then look for another Kitty vent in the next room to find the Red Brick.

Go to the Junkyard

The Junkyard is in the western parts of Tricorner Island in the open world.

› camzillasmom.com

Search the Junkyard for a Joker Card

Defeat the thugs in the junkyard, then investigate the hat and the note next to the Mime Van by the junkyard entrance. When you’re close enough, you can trigger UV Vision to follow the footsteps to an “Out of Order” box.

Batman will press the button there to reveal a safe. Switch to Catwoman to crack the safe. In this minigame, you have to spin the lock wheel slowly, so the arm fully falls into the hole. If you’re too fast, you have to go around once more and be slower next time! There are three arms to drop into their holes to open the safe and collect the card in the safe.

Go to City Hall

City Hall is in the south of the Old Gotham North district. Speak to Renee at the side of City Hall. This time, she will even talk to Batman. After the chat, Mimes are breaking out of her van. Defeat them before you can talk to her again.

› camzillasmom.com
› camzillasmom.com

Go to the GCPD Building

Renee reports that there was no Joker card but a giant Jack-in-the-Box, which they took to the station. Sounds like bad news. Let’s head there. The GCPD is in the same district. Your target is on the northern side, outside of GCPD. There are yellow and red splatters all over the floor.

There is a police officer, but he can’t talk since he is full of this stuff (Ketchup and Mustard, I presume). Destroy everything around the area and use Batman’s Bat Claw to pull down the donut from the snack hut to build a washer.

› camzillasmom.com

To clean the police officer, first pull the yellow grapple plug with Batman’s Bat Claw. Then switch to Catwoman and use the Whip multiple times on the other side until the police officer is clean. Now you can talk to him.

Go to the Stolen Vehicle’s Last Location

Someone has stolen the police man’s vehicle with all the evidence in it. The car was last seen in the Cauldron South district. As they arrive, Batman and Catwoman will smell the condiments already.

Find a Way to Open the Warehouse Shutter

The ketchup and mustard trail leads into the warehouse. Interact with the opening mechanism to turn it. Unfortunately, the power is off, but Catwoman can climb walls and pull the power lever. Now the shutter can be opened, and the warehouse entered.

Defeat the Condiment King

There are a couple of things you can do here. You can shoot down the boxes with the Batarang to improve your cover possibilities. There is always a small break between his attacks. That’s when you move.

› camzillasmom.com
› camzillasmom.com

Find a Way to Open the Evidence Box

Reach him at the front and give him one good hit. He will drop the handle of the blue box nearby. Pick it up and use it on the box to open it. Jack will jump out. Take the Joker Card from his hand. The team will then put all the cards together to find a picture of Mr.Flugelheim (I assume it is LEGO Batman’s own Guggenheim museum).

Break into the Flugelheim

Grapple up to the Flugelheim sign. Catwoman can cut through a glass panel there to make an opening. Enter to start the mission.

After finding the Joker Cards and solving their mystery, Mission 8: Flugelheim starts right after breaking into the Flugelheim.

Batman and Catwoman arrive in the corridor of the Flugelheim Museum.

Batcave Trophy: Destroy 5 Boomboxes

Every Boombox counts as 1 of 170 trophy collectibles.

Before even moving forward, turn around. The first Boombox is right behind the red’n’white cube. The trail of golden studs is a giveaway!

› camzillasmom.com

For Fun & Riches: Golden Lobster

In the corridor ahead is a glass showcase with a golden lobster. Catwoman is a thief at heart. Cut the glass for some extra studs!

› camzillasmom.com

Follow the corridor down to the shutter to the main gallery. Pick up Joker’s head and place it on the empty pedestal to the left. This will open the shutter to the main gallery.

› camzillasmom.com

Disable the Security Gate

There are two pedestals by the Security Gate. Each requires a Joker head. Look for the blue paint splatter on the floor, then use UV vision to follow the footprints to a painting.

› camzillasmom.com
› camzillasmom.com

Interact with it and rotate it. There is an access card hidden at the back. Take it to the card reader to open a shutter gate to the first Joker head. It is at the far back of this newly opened room, below the Red Brick.

Boombox 2 of 5

Every Boom Box counts as 1 of 170 trophy collectibles.

Boombox two is in this room on the right side after entering.

› camzillasmom.com

Boombox 3 of 5

Boombox three is also in this corridor, leading to the Joker Head and the Red Brick. Look for the glass showcase with a yellow grapple plug. Pull it with Batman’s Bat Claw to reveal the second Boom Box.

For Fun & Riches: Red’n’Yellow Eye

In the same corridor as the two Boom Boxes and the Red Brick, there is a glass showcase with a Red’n’Yellow Eye sculpture. Cut the Glass with Catwoman – for a pile of studs.

› camzillasmom.com

For Fun & Riches: Golden Minifig

Just one alcove ahead is a showcase with a golden Mini-Minifig. Cut the glass with Catwoman for the studs!

› camzillasmom.com

The shutters to the Joker’s head will close as soon as you approach it. But there is a vent for Catwoman’s Kitty right next to it!

› camzillasmom.com
› camzillasmom.com

Summon the Kitty and send it through the vent. There is a security guard sleeping at the other end. Press the red button to open the shutters. Before returning, consider using the other Kitty vent in this guard’s room. Just follow the line of golden studs to the Red Brick.

› camzillasmom.com
› camzillasmom.com

Red Brick: Artist

The Red Brick is above the Joker’s head, which you need to open the Security Gate. To get to it, look for the other Kitty Vent in the room where the guard sleeps (screenshot above). This will lead directly to the Red Brick!

› camzillasmom.com
› camzillasmom.com

Before taking the Joker’s head back to the main room and the security gate, open the other shutter to reach the Purple Stud behind it. Use Catwoman’s Whip above the shutter multiple times to open it. Then, cut the glass of the showcase to take the Purple Stud.

Boombox 4 of 5

Boombox four is next to the Joker Head.

› camzillasmom.com

Enough with this side room already! Pick up the Joker Head to take it to the Security Gate. Avoid the lasers on the way back!

› camzillasmom.com
› camzillasmom.com

Finally back in the main room, head upstairs. There is a glass showcase that Batman can pull with the Bat Claw. Then interact with the brick wall to use the Explosive Spray.

› camzillasmom.com
› camzillasmom.com

This will reveal the second Joker Head. Take it back to the Security Gate and put it on the second pedestal.

› camzillasmom.com
› camzillasmom.com

For Fun & Riches: Golden Tower

Another showcase is the golden tower waiting for Catwoman to be cut open, in the same upstairs corridor as the second Joker Head. For a pile of studs.

› camzillasmom.com

Open the Vault

Before running into the vault, have a look around. The last Boom Box is here.

› camzillasmom.com

Boombox 5 of 5

The last Boombox is to the left of the Vault entrance near the LEGO “Mona Lisa”.

› camzillasmom.com

For Fun & Riches: Minikit

The last glass showcase for Catwoman in this Mission is a Minikit! This was quite heartwarming after playing so many LEGO games and collecting Minikits! Do it for the Studs!

› camzillasmom.com

Then you can finally crack the vault with Catwoman to meet Joker.
