Crimson Desert: Foreboding Shadow Questline Walkthrough

Brave New World is the opening questline of Chapter 11: Truth and Reality in Crimson Desert, following Greater Firepower.

It spans five quests and takes you to Delesyia Castle to confront Marni – but things don’t go as planned. What follows is an investigation across three locations – the Aeronautical Research Base, Marni’s Laboratorium, and Valvegard Garrison – each guarded by a boss that must be defeated to collect a key. This guide covers all five quests, including how to get into Delesyia Castle, how to navigate the Strange Manor’s memory mechanic, all three key locations, and the boss fights.

Master of a Forgotten Land is the second questline of Chapter 11: Truth and Reality. It consists of three quests, starting with Master of a Forgotten Land.

Description
“In order to destroy the Flying Fortress Orbian, Golden Star must be defeated to obtain its power core.”

Retrieve Golden Star’s Power Core

Exit Marni’s Hideout through the round door. There is also a memory to collect at the exit. The hideout opens like a fallout shelter, facing the sea. There is a staircase going up along the rocks to reach your new destination: Marni’s Masterium. Keep following the wooden platforms. It will lead you right there. You can also activate an Abyss Nexus along the way.

Reach the top – I climbed a stretch – to be greeted by a metal dragon called Golden Star. Defeat it to receive the Power Core.

To fight, use the electricity pillars. Either hit it when Golden Star is sitting right above it, or pick one up and shoot it towards the dragon.

Reward:
Golden Fire

Description
“Blackstar, the dragon once encountered in the desert, awaited in the Abyss. White Crow explained that Blackstar would serve as the winds needed to destroy the unassailable flying fortress.”

After the fight, return to the location where you fought the dragon to complete the questline and receive Blackstar as your mount.

Description
“Destroy the Flying Fortress Orbian with Blackstar.”

In the first part, you have to use Blackstar as your weapon to destroy the Flying Fortress. To destroy the power cores, you have to approach them directly and aim at their centers.

After destroying the cores, you will land on the fortress’s platform with the objective of finding a way inside.

Use “Stab” on the center wooden pillar, then turn it so you get a round opening in the ceiling.

Climb inside. You are now inside a room with Machina Knights and hostile orbs. When you have time, stab and pierce the glowing orb in the center of the room to destroy it. Then, climb the outside of the fortress (you can climb up the cables to the top), where more of those glowing glass orbs await.

At the end, destroy the orb at the top. This will open a flap door at the side of the fortress. Drop down to it to enter.

On the other side of the corridor is this revolving door. It will turn when you hang onto it and Force Push it. But you can’t go through like that. The trick is to enter focus, hold the Force Push, and direct it to the opposite side. For example, hang onto the left side of the revolving door and guide the Force Push to the right.

This will take you to the other side to fight H.A.L.L. Use Charged Shots to fight it.
