Crimson Desert: Missing Companion Wooly Quest Walkthrough

Starting the Quest

The quest is a poster hanging at the Springtide Mill Notice Board, south of Hernand town. If you have not liberated the Springtide Mill yet, do so to access the Notice Board.

The Poster reads:
“Please find my friend Wooly!
Requester: Willian, Wooly’s Friend

I’m looking for my precious friend, Wooly.
He disappeared without warning, and I think someone may have taken him.
If you happen to see Wooly, please let me know right away.
Come down to the farm and cross the eastern bridge.”

Quest Giver’s Location

Meet Willian, the quest giver at Bloomwood Ranch, southeast of Hernand town. He will only be available to talk during day time. If you arrive at night, you will get the option to wait. An hourglass symbol will appear on the screen, and you can use it by hitting the menu button.

Talk to Willian to get more information about the quest. He will tell you that some bad men took Whooly when the rock fell out of the sky.

Gather Information on Wooly from the Men

Head to the marked location on the map. It’s just on the other side of the road.

The herders will tell you that there is a bandit camp across the river.

Gather Information on Wooly from the Children

After talking to the men, the quest will automatically jump to “Find Wooly, the sheep,” marking the bandit camp on the map.

If you want to talk to the children and you can’t find them, open the quest in the journal, move the cursor to the Missing Companion quest description to the right, and mark the quest step: Gather information on the missing sheep from the children.

The children are now marked on the map, and you can go talk to them. They are just west of the herders. They won’t provide more information, but they will run back to Willian to help him look for Wooly.

Find Wooly The Sheep

The herders talked about a bandit camp. It’s now time to check that out. If you zoom in, you will see a sheep symbol on the map. That’s Wooly. The bandit camp is south of the Nas River Fishing Dock, across the river on the hill.

Defeat the bandits at their camp. Then find Wooly in the enclosure at the center of the camp. Pick Wooly up and carry it. Did you know that you can ride while carrying something?

Return to Willian

Walk or ride with the sheep on your shoulder back to Willian. This will complete the quest.

He will be sad that it is not Wooly, but he will mention that “Mr. Greymane” promised to get Wooly back already. Following Willian to the Greymane’s last location won’t bring closure to who the Greymane is, but the Quest: Secrets Hidden in the Dark mentions a Greymane.
