Styx: Blades of Greed – A Way Though The Wall Walkthrough

Description

The Zepplin doesn’t survive their escape. Riddles with damage, it crashes near the Wall in a burst of flames and twisted metal. Styx, Djarak, and Helledryn barely make it out of the wreck alive, pursued, wounded, and without a plan. Reduced to wandering, they take refuge in the Slums, where no one asks questions. As the world closes in around them, they now have to survive, stay silent… and find a way out.

1 – Reach the Wailing Widow Tavern

Exit the safehouse at the top to find a good vantage point. The tavern is up ahead. It has a beer mug sign. Unfortunately, double-jumps only take you so far when travelling the roofs. Look for the crane, a wooden platform and the tavern door to see which way to go.

2 – Find the Dwarf Captain’s Bedroom

There are two doors at the other end of that crane. One needs a lockpick, and the other one leads through an enemy’s bedroom. Time your entrance so you can take cover. There are two enemies in here. There is a lockpick in this room. So you can choose to pick the doors’s lock to the left or crouch through the opening.

I chose to pass on the lockpick and crawled into a bedroom from there. Here, I took the window exit and entered into the main stairwell on the other side of the tavern.

From here you can take care of the guards. The Dwarf Captain’s Bedroom is the locked door to the right, with the sleeping person on the big bed. I used the only lockpick I had on this door.

3 – Reach the Zeppelins’ Docks

Extinguish the fireplace and climb up the chimney and reach the terrace. This is a good place to collect glass bottles. Here you can also unlock the balloon station – which is a fast travel point once unlocked. Open the fast travel balloon station and select Wall Fortress -> Zeppelin’s docks.

4 – Reach Irving’s Zeppelin

Exit the balloon once you’ve reached the Zeppelin’s docks and make your way up the broken stairs. You may want to climb up to the roof as soon as you can to get a better vantage point. Use the various crawlspaces under the towers to hide and avoid the armoured guards.

Look for staircases to the left that go up to a small ledge. Here you can take care of the two guards. Be aware of the armoured guard in the center. He’s patrolling in circles.

From the balcony, where one of the guards stood, you can now jump onto the roof and reach the zeppelin to interact with the Quartz lock.

5 – Find the Chest Room

To open the Zeppelin’s Inquisition Quartz lock, you now have to find the key in the Chest Room. From the Zeppelin, return back to through the open gates. Look for crawl spaces in the dark to avoid the guards.

From here, you can continue through the door to the next section, which has a lot of cover areas. Here, you can see the Chest Room on the other side of the track. You can time your crossing just right or pick the lonely guards one by one to make it easier.

Note that there is also an overhead bridge with a guard patrolling. Once you’ve reached the crawlspace on the other side of the corridor, you can easily enter the Chest Room. Open the big chest at the back.

6 – Free The Way To The Zeppelin

You can now either defeat all the guards in the area or create a diversion. For the diversion, exit through the crawlspace and cross the corridor to the other side, where you can open a gate. Go up to the main, open storage area.

Here, use the next stairs to reach a room with a lever. Use the lever for the distraction.

Return to the fugitive dwarf in the Chest Room when the alarm sounds. The guards are now all gone. Follow Jasper to the Zeppelin.

7 – Secure the Airstation

Leave the Zeppelin and defeat the 7 present enemies. The big enemy can be poisoned. Look for a bag you can interact with in the way of his path. You can also drop the crane loads to defeat multiple.

Lower the gate by interacting with the lever when you’re done.
