Outcast A New Beginning: Something Fishy! Walkthrough

Before You Start: Unlock Glide

Location: Upgrade tab in the in-game menu

You can’t finish this quest without the Glide upgrade for your jetpack. Open the Upgrade tab in the in-game menu and buy Jetsprint first for 50 Blue Helidium, then Glide for 100 Blue Helidium.

1 – Talk to Barram about Fishing

Location: Sappa, beach near the boats

Find Barram in Sappa and talk to him about fishing. He tends to the boats on the beach and is easy to spot thanks to the fish on top of his hat.

2 – Stun 4 Sannégas Fish

Location: East of Sappa

Sannégas is the local fish. Cutter doesn’t think much of Barram’s fishing technique, so he wants to stun the fish by gliding over them with the jetpack.

Go to the marked area east of Sappa. The red dots inside the blue circle on your minimap are the fish, and scanning the area highlights them in yellow. While you’re in the water, activate Glide (L1+R1 on PS5, check the controls menu on other platforms) and chase a Sannégas until you glide right over it. That stuns it and counts as one catch.

Stun 4 Sannégas fish. You don’t have to bring them back to Barram.

What Happens Next

The quest ends as soon as the 4th Sannégas is stunned. Sappa has two more Village Quests: A Ventilope for Everything and Explosive Idea, which unlocks once you’ve delivered the Ventilopes.
