Outcast A New Beginning: Looking for a Galentasitter Walkthrough

1 – Talk to Dhaak about Drones

Location: Emea, near the empty egg in the village center

The quest starts with a single entry in the Emea quest screen: a head outline with a question mark. Dhaak stands near the center of Emea, next to the now-empty egg. He asks you to walk the Galenta to keep her happy and to destroy the drones around the village, all to help the Galenta grow.

2 – Walk the Galenta

Location: Around Emea and the swamp

The Galenta wants to go for a walk around Emea. Follow her and defeat every enemy that attacks, especially the Zeedogs in the swamp and the roaming drones. This step is done as soon as you are back in Emea.

3 – Destroy the Drones

Location: Around Emea

Open the in-game map, select Emea Village and pick Looking for a Galentasitter to activate this step. Follow the blue minimap marker to the drones. There are four drone groups in total, and you have to destroy all of them.

Partway through, you get a notification that something is wrong in Emea. You can finish the drones first, or head back to Emea right away and return for the rest later.

4 – Stop the Incoming Attack

Location: Emea

As soon as you return to Emea, drones attack the village. Fend them off and survive all 5 waves. The drone drop ships that bring them in cannot be destroyed, so focus on the drones.

5 – Find the Missing Galenta

Location: Follow the blue mission marker

The attack scared the Galenta, and she floated away. Follow the blue mission marker on your minimap. When you reach the spot, a cutscene shows that you found her.

6 – Escort the Galenta

Location: Back to Emea

Now escort the Galenta back to Emea. Drones attack you on the way, so be ready to fight.

7 – Kill the Kamenai

Location: High up in Emea

Kamenai, aggressive birds that attack when disturbed, are sitting on top of the Galenta. Look up to find the Galenta above the village, then use the staircases and bridges in Emea to get as close as possible and shoot the Kamenai off her.

Once all Kamenai are dead, Looking for a Galentasitter is mastered.

What Happens Next

The Galenta is not fully grown yet. She needs food, and the story continues with Bon Appetit, Baby!, where you set up a Kwort farm for her. The Emea Village Quests only wrap up once Ventilopes arrive in Emea at the end of that quest, so an open quest in the Emea quest screen after this one is normal.
