The Missing Hunter Avatar Frontiers of Pandora Walkthrough

1 – Talk to Vefilu at the High Loom Camp

Location: Kinglor Forest – The High Loom Camp
Quest Step: Talk to Vefilu

To start The Missing Hunter, head to the High Loom Camp. It is located east of the Tangled Lake and north of Hometree. The map below shows where to find it.

The camp is mostly flat, with a pathway leading up to it. Vefilu is inside the hut on the top level. She is skeptical at first but accepts your help. While the others search from the air, you search nearby, since you don’t have an Ikran yet.

2 – Look for Eetu North of the Camp

Eetu has a hideout nearby. It is at the bottom of the hill north of the High Loom Camp.

When you scan the area, you see a couple of RDA soldiers, which means you are in the right place. Defeat them and enter Mender’s Cave, Eetu’s hideout.

3 – The Missing Hunter Clues: Investigate Mender’s Cave

Quest Step: Investigate Mender’s Cave to find Eetu

Inside the cave, you have to find out what happened. Scan the cave and 6 clues light up. Connect them into 3 pairs as shown below.

Pair 1: Dead RDA Soldier – Broken Bow
Two dead RDA soldiers, killed by arrows, lie on the floor. Across from them, on top of a stone table, is the broken bow.

Pair 2: Discarded Food – Eetu’s Headpiece
The discarded food is on the stone table near the dead soldiers. Link it with Eetu’s headpiece at the back of the cave.

Pair 3: Broken Ikran Gear – Scratch Marks
The broken Ikran gear is on the floor next to the stone table with the broken bow. The scratch marks are at the back of the cave and lead up to an opening above.

4 – Track the Wounded Ikran and Defend Zomey

At the back of the cave, follow the scratch marks and Ikran blood and climb up to the opening at the top. Scan the area for a red line: it is the scent of the Ikran blood. Follow it until you reach a burning area where an Ikran is fighting the RDA.

Defend Zomey
The Ikran is Zomey, Eetu’s Ikran. Defeat three waves of RDA soldiers before the blue bar in the top left corner runs out. If it reaches zero, Zomey dies and the quest fails.

After the fight, check on Zomey. She is in front of the crashed RDA Dragon Ship and flies up on top of it when you get too close.

5 – Help Eetu Get Out of the Dragon Ship

Quest Step: Help Eetu get out of the Dragon Ship

Eetu is trapped inside the crashed Dragon Ship. Scan the ship to highlight the loading bay at the bottom. After you talk to Eetu, the SID tool (the hacking tool) blinks. Activate it with the combination shown on screen, L1 + Triangle on PS5, to see the power lines. The broken power line is on top of the Dragon Ship, where Zomey is sitting.

Soothe Zomey
Approach Zomey slowly and hold Square when prompted to soothe her. She then flies away instead of kicking you off the ship.

Open the Loading Bay Door
Now you can fix the power line. Repaired power lines show up in green. Follow the line down and fix every box that is not green yet, the same way you learned at the start of the game. If you need a reminder, check the Tutorials section in the game menu. The power line leads all the way to the loading bay, where a lever partially opens the door. Interact with it to continue the quest.

6 – Find a Way to Escape the Downed Dragon Ship

After the cutscene, you are trapped in the Dragon Ship too. Use the SID tool again to hack the power box on the ground level. This opens a minigame where you follow a path to the target to activate the power box.

7 – Talk to Eetu on the Shore and Find Zomey

Quest Step: Talk to Eetu on the shore of the crash site

In the cutscene, you jump into the water. Swim to the shore and talk to Eetu. He is badly injured and wants to find Zomey to fly to safety. Follow him while he looks for his Ikran.

Track Zomey
Neither of you can find her, and Eetu is too weak to go on, so you have to track her yourself. Scan the area for her scent and follow it south. Soon she shows up outlined while you scan, on top of a mountain.

Climb up to her, using the thick branches to gain height. As soon as you reach her, a cutscene starts: you call Eetu to tell him you found her, and he arrives quickly, only to see her die.

Finish The Missing Hunter
To end the quest, leave Eetu be. As soon as you are far enough away, The Missing Hunter is complete.
