MISSION OBJECTIVE
Makal’s Gambling Parlor – Toshara
“Having crashlanded on Toshara, Kay has teamed up with a mechanic named Woka who will help repair the Trailblazer. Waka suggests going to Mirogana to pick up a job from the Pyke Syndicate in order to get credits for the repairs.”
1. Reach Makal’s Cantina
Mirogana is bustling with imperial authority. As is customary in such settings, given the inevitable need for credits, it is advisable to discreetly appropriate and collect all visible items. Exercise caution during thievery to avoid detection by the Imperial personnel, as any oversight may lead to imprisonment.
Noteworthy: Taking from Stormtroopers yields grenades, while pilfering from their commander results in valuable items for sale.
Pass through the checkpoint at the Mirogana entry area to reach the town’s center without waiting in line. Proceed straight to the energy field, where a Stormtrooper will check your ID for clearance. Once through, follow the map to “Makal’s Gambling Parlor” Cantina. Be cautious of the Broker there, trying to sell a fake VIP invite to Gorak’s suite – he’s a scam artist after your credits.
Talk to the Bartender inside the cantina. Kay will tell her that she wants to see Gorak. The bartender will reply that Gorak can only be seen with an invitation. If you have bought that VIP invite from the broker, the bartender will laugh and tell you that it’s not valid.
2. Find a Way into Gorak’s Suite
The way to Gorak’s suite is only by the turbo lift inside the cantina. When you approach its closed doors, the bartender will tell you off. So here’s what to do.
In the corridor beside the turbo lift, a technician is tinkering with a panel on the wall. Engage in conversation with her. While she will refuse assistance in fixing the panel, she will agree to a bribe of 150 credits, an amount you should already possess from your previous activities of theft and scavenging.
The orange door beside the technician will open for you. Interact with the computer to hack the turbo lift and bring it down. Return to the turbo lift and step inside. Disregard the bartender and operate the controls to ascend to the suite.
A cutscene unfolds as Kay enters the suite, drawn to a bustling crowd. At the rear, Gorak, seated on a throne-like chair, engages in a tense conversation with an Imperial Officer. The exchange turns sour, leading to the Officer’s dismissal. Gorak’s gaze falls upon Kay, a stranger to him. Upon mentioning Waka sent her, Gorak’s demeanor grows colder, dismissing her and advising her to return when she’s more familiar with the world.
Kay stepped out of the elevator and was approached by Danka, a Mon Calamari Broker, who presented her with a job opportunity. Danka explained that a client required an item to be retrieved from Gorak’s private base, and Kay agreed to take on the task.
3. Infiltrate Gorak’s Base
MISSION OBJECTIVE
Pyke Syndicate District – Toshara
“After failing to get work from Gorak and the Pyke Syndicate, an information broker named Danka has set Kay up with a job. Kay must break into Gorak’s base and steal some data for an unknown client.”
You have now been introduced to the Reputation section of the game. Access your Reputation and the Criminal Network Information anytime in the in-game menu. Each Criminal Network offers 3 rewards when you achieve the highest reputation with them. The ultimate goal is to maximize your reputation with all networks to unlock all rewards.
The Pyke Syndicate District encompasses the entire northeastern region of Mirogana. Proceed to the designated area marked for your mission. Access to the Pyke Syndicate District is restricted by guards, requiring a stealthy approach to gain entry.
At the entrance area, look for a vent you can crouch into to get to the other side of the guarded entrance.
3.1. Reach the Maintenance Door
Crouch through the vent and emerge on the opposite side. Note that a new mission objective is added: “Reach the maintenance door“.
Kay will appear just above the district entrance on a balcony with a staircase leading down. Instead of turning left towards the staircase, go right to find a grapple point that lets you descend into the circular open area. On the ground level, seek out another vent opening across the hall, behind a guard stationed in front of the earlier staircase heading upwards.
At the end of the vent, you come out just next to the guard at the staircase. Sneak to the left and use the boxes and buildings to hide. Advance to the far end.
After completing the leftward sneak stretch, you’ll encounter a staircase that ascends to a spacious building. Grated walls line both sides, providing a path to reach the upper balcony. Keep an eye out for the yellow climbing bars marked along the way!
After reaching the balcony safely, head towards the yellow mission marker in the hood to locate a door that can be lockpicked with the data spike to gain entry. Inside, you’ll discover another vent to navigate through while crouching. Upon emerging onto a grated platform, the game will indicate your next destination with a “look” prompt and Kay will ask, “Now, how do we ascend up there?”
3.2. The Maintenance Area
The designated location is a damaged pipe that Kate can access upon arrival. Descend from the grated platform to a metal one with a ladder. Descend to the ground level using the ladder. Activate the turbo lift by pressing the call button. Ascend using the same ladder and leap onto the roof of the turbo lift.
From the top of the turbo-lift, ascend to a small platform where you can dispatch Nix to summon a second turbo-lift.
The second lift will descend just next to Kay. From there she can jump onto a grated wall and climb up to the broken pipe. Look for the yellow bars again!

Enter the damaged pipe within the ventilation system where two propellers reside. The initial propeller obstructs Kay’s path and needs halting. Utilize Nix to survey the vicinity and locate the power line linked to the propeller. It trails to a Closed Shutter. Instruct Nix to unveil the shutter, allowing Kay to target and disable the power cell concealed behind. This action will cease the propeller’s rotation.
Exit the large ventilation pipe onto the opposite side to enter an open, cave-like area with railed platforms.
Note: Within the chasm lies a chest nestled inside a fractured pipe. By overriding the lock, you can unlock it to access its contents. While resembling a Treasure collectible, this chest is distinct from the Mirogana Undiscovered Treasures collection.
Now, direct your gaze upwards to locate the grapple point on the ceiling. Utilize it to swing across the chasm to the far end. In case of a fall, utilize the ladder to ascend and attempt once more.
You can ascend a ladder at the opposite end and pass through a doorway to access the “Pike Stronghold” Location.
3.3. Disable the Energy Barrier
Upon reaching “Pike Stronghold,” you have the freedom to choose your approach. Whether you opt for stealth or aggression, the objective remains the same: neutralize the energy barrier at the rear of the location. To achieve this, you must deactivate two power cells located on either side of the entrance marked by a red glowing shield, as indicated in the accompanying screenshot.
If you’re having trouble locating the power cells, search for the thick power lines emanating from the rear doors, highlighting the path to the power cells.
3.4. Break into the Tower
With the Energy Barrier now lowered, you can approach the big red door at the back and lockpick it with your data spike. Defeat the two guards inside and use the elevator at the end of the room to get to Gorak’s Office, where you can “Access Gorak’s Terminal”.
Please be aware that there is an additional locked chest located in Gorak’s Office containing 500 credits. While resembling a Treasure Chest, it is not classified as one.
4. Escape the Base
Regardless, triggering the computer alarm will alert Kay and lead to an attack. Upon obtaining the “Spotchka Recipe” Quest Item, defeat the adversaries and exit using the elevator. However, due to the lockdown, the elevator now requires lockpicking.
This action merely triggered the elevator door to open, revealing an empty shaft. Kay now faces the task of ascending manually. Fortunately, there are yellow-grated walls leading all the way to the upper level. Although the view from here is slightly unconventional, the climb remains achievable.
Ascend to the upper level, access a different vent, and proceed to a living space occupied by adversaries. Overcome them to exit through a vent shaft located at the rear.
Kay emerges into the open air, but her escape is not yet complete. Upon exiting the vent, seek out a grappling point above to swing across the chasm towards the yellow grated wall opposite. Ascend it to the far left, where Mirogana’s landing port comes into view in the distance. Proceed towards it, descending by locating a grappling point. Simply follow the extended, grey cable downwards.
Leap to the small structure, then proceed rightward. Swing across a gap using the overhead log to access a climbing wall marked in white. Ascend it completely and trace the cable to Mirogana’s port. Here, you can safely descend by leaping onto the landing pad.
5. Return to Danka
Return to “Makal’s Gambling Parlor” Cantina, where Danka waits to introduce Kay to Eleera of Crimson Dawn. She tells Kay that she knows that she stole the Trailblazer and is now a wanted person by Zerek Besh. Eleera tells Kay that she will keep quiet if Kay works for them again.
You will now get to choose:
Tell Eleera about the Pyke taitor or save the information for Gorak.
The decision will either raise the reputation of Crimson Dawn or the Pyke Syndicate.
Reward from Eleera: Fuel Injectors for the Trailblazer.
6. Talk to Gorak
I decided to keep the details for Gorak since he treated Nix well during our initial encounter, and the information pertains to his team. Following my chat with Eleera, I ride the cantina’s turbo-lift to Gorak’s suite.
The data will elevate the Pyke Syndicate’s status to “Good,” granting unrestricted entry to the Pike Syndicate district.
