Description

Even if they were pushed back during the boarding, the Inquisition hasn’t let go. Time for Styx to strike where it hurts – and make sure they stay off his back for good.

Infiltrate the Inquisition’s Stronghold

At the start, Djarak will tell Styx that he was able to sabotage some of the Ballistas, but there are still some higher up that need to be care of by Styx to secure the escape route. Use your new “Spectral Dash” ability to pass through the closed metal gate. Do the same to reach the courtyard.

Go to the waterside. At the back of the building, near the water, you can climb up to the windows and use Spectral Dash to get inside. You now have infiltrated the Inquisition’s Stronghold.

Find a Way Deeper Into the Inquisition Stronghold

If you want to have fun right from the offset, drop the chandelier on top of the whole group down below. Great fun. Use the grapples to advance in the building.

Reach the next room, which has another chandelier. Remember: You can now phase through metal bars. Spectral Phase to the chandelier release to take care of the Inquisition guards.

From here you can either Spectral Phase or Lockpick a door to a corridor. At the end of it is a room that has a fireplace. Extinguish it and climb up.

At the top, you will see where you need to go: Across the pulled-up drawbridge. Return to the chandelier and exit to the terrace, where people perform jumping jacks. Here, you can get to the roof and from there onto the terrace above.

From there, climb further up into a wooden extension. This is the drawbridge level.

Exit into the Stronghold. Either through the door or “Spectral Dash” through the window. The window is the better strategy to take care of prying eyes. Take care of one guard by hiding in the box. The lever for the drawbridge is just opposite of the box. Drop the drawbridge and cross over.

Search for the Origin of the Noise

The guards have their back turned and the approach is unseen. I first dashed into the area to the right to poison the big guard’s food (for scraps), before heading to the left hand room from the drawbridge (more towards the mission pointer.)

Cross over to the next room with two workers. You can phase through a crouch space at the back and hide in the underfloor.

Head closer to the bells in the center of this room. You will have to leave the underfloor for the mission to trigger. Follow them to the room behind the bell to kill the engineer. Listen to them talk and you will hear that the chime’s plan is stored in the library. We’ll get to that.

Sneak into the room at the other side, where you can climb up to the chandelier above and drop it down onto the group.

For the plans, extinguish the fireplace in the same room as the engineer, climb up and then up onto the balcony. There is a guard standing at the border of it. Push him down. Then, you can climb up the outside wall using the cracks.

At the top ledge, cross over to the adjacent building using the grapple point. Enter through the window and drop the chandelier there to take care of the guards by the entrance.

Head downstairs, “Spectral Dash” through the crouch space and pick up the plans on top of one of the desks near the chandelier.

Reach the Top of the Dungeon

Head outside and climb onto the roof, where you can cross over to a closed metal gate.

Climb the outside of the structure using ledges and hanging cages until you reach the other side. Those cages have climbable ropes.

Here, from the cage, you can grapple up. Move around at the outside to take care of some of the guards and take out the three ballistas. The big guards can be taken care of by poisonous drink.

Enter the Mausoleum

Head back down towards the library. Enter the building, go upstairs and use the lever of the drawbridge and cross over.
