Eye of the Storm – Crimson Fleet Mission Walkthrough

Mission text:
“After bringing the Conduction Grid data back to the Key, Naeva Mora has informed me that the Crimson Fleet is on high alert and Delgado wants to see me right away.”

Follow the mission marker to talk to Delgado. He’s at “Ship Services”. He wants you to hand over the Conduction Grid data.

Mission text:
“I’ve been informed that UC SysDef is massing for an attack on the Key. In order to obtain the money to secure enough reinforcements to hold SysDef off, I’m to continue to Bannoc IV and retrieve Kryx’s Legacy.”

Talk to Jasmine Durand at “Ship Services”. Ask her to help you with the ship. Then select “view and modify my ships” to install the two modules.

Modify your ship by adding the two modules. They are in the “Equipment” section and don’t cost anything. Install the Conduction Grid and the Comspike on your ship.

Mission text:
“I now have the proper modules installed on my ship to penetrate the EM field surrounding Bannoc IV. Before I proceed to Bannoc IV, I should report my progress to Commander Ikande at the Vigilance.”

After installing the Comspike and the Conduction Grid Module on my ship, I have to fly back to the UC Vigilance to report. After docking report to speak to Commander Ikande.

Mission text:
“I should now proceed to Bannoc IV, the location of the GalBank Transport “Legacy”.

Bannoc is a very rough Level 50 system. Board the Galbank Transport “Legacy”. The environment will drain your shields.

Mission text:
“I’ve boarded the GalBank Transport “Legacy”. My ultimate goal is to reach the Vault Control Center, from which I should be able to access all of the ship’s currency.”

Follow the marker on board to get to the Vault Control Center. As soon as you reach it, you will have to find a “Transfer Module” to open it.

Mission text:
“In order to access the Legacy’s Vault, I’ll need to obtain a Transfer Module. A member of the crew was likely carrying one of these devices.”

Now I need to find a Transfer Module but I needn’t go too far. The body nearby has one. Use it to open the Vault’s Door.

Mission text:
“I now have access to the Legacy’s Vault.”

On the way to VAULT CONTROL CENTER, you will get to a CredTank in the corridor. Just interact with it to open.

Mission text:
“I now have access to the Legacy’s Vault.”

Follow the mission marker to get to the Vault Control Center. Opening the orange door will cause an alert and the security systems to activate.

Enter this room. There is a computer where you can recalibrate the turrets. Look for a door that has a “Hydraulics” sign. That’s the path to continue on. There is another security computer in Hydraulics to activate turrets, robots and disarming the alarm.

Continue to follow the mission marker through a corridor.

You will soon get to another smaller control room called “Physical Plant”. Here’s also a security computer that you can use to configure the security system but also to open a nearby door. Go through it towards the Engine Room and the Vault.

The Vault Door’s computer has an error and can’t be used. You can pick the lock of the nearby security office. but there is nothing important in there.

The only option now is to go through the engine room. Another alarm will be triggered. Go to the control room. It has an advanced lock on the door but there is a security computer inside. Also, when you read the files on the computer, you get the OSTERHOLT SAFE CODE. The safe is also in the Control Room.

At the other end of the engine room is a door that gets you to another Vault Door with a working computer. Open the door and go through.

As soon as you enter the vault, another security system will power up. The Vault Control door is at the very back of the vault.

At Vault Control, take all of Jasper Kryx’ Credstiks on the floor, the Evidence File and the Galbank Transfer Module. There is another file on the center console called “The Waiting Game”. Listen to the whole recording of the Evidence File.

Mission text:
“After listening to Kryx’s final log, I’ve learned that I’ll need to reroute the jury-rigged power from the Legacy’s shields to the Vault in order to gain access to the ship’s currency, which will make the transport vulnerable to Bannoc IV’s EM Field.”

There are two red switches with a red light at Vault Control. Interact with those to reroute power.

Then you can interact with the center console. Insert the two Transfer Locks and interact twice with the center to prepare for download.

Mission text:
“Now that the power has been rerouted, I can access and transfer the Legacy’s credit reserves.”

Start the download with the Download Control Switch. Wait for the transfer to complete.

Mission text:
“I’ve successfully downloaded the currency from the Legacy’s Vault onto my Data Core. Kryx’s Legacy is mine.”

First take the Transfer Module locks out of their slots, then the Data Core. After that, you have to run all the way back to escape the Legacy! A very scary experience!
