West Gate

The Sniper starts in the forest south of the walls of St. Raimond when you play the mission for the first time.

Scaffold Yard

The Scaffold Yard Infiltration Point is in the south within the walls of St. Raimond. As the name says, the area has a lot of scaffolding. Open the locked door to unlock this Infiltration Point.

Collect Vertigo’s Dead Drop

As the objectives state, the Dead Drop is at the Basilica. If you like a stealthy approach, there is a tunnel that leads from the Café du Matin right into the basilica’s ground floor, where you can find the Basilica Vestri Safe Key right next to a gramophone. There is also a charge satchel in the same room.

Take the nearby staircase up one level, where you will find the office with the green safe. Use either the Basilica Vestri Safe Key or the charge satchel to open the safe. You receive the Collectible: Personal Letters: A Lost Soul Trembles.

Leave the office and go back to the staircase to climb the Basilica’s tower. Interact with the painting at the top of the stairs to find Vertigo’s Dead Drop.

Search Vertigo’s Apartment

Vertigo’s Apartment is at a very confusing central apartment complex in the center of the map. You will know that you have reached the apartment when you see things lying on the floor as if someone had searched the place. Walk around the whole apartment to find a “squeaky floorboard” that you can interact with. This will lead to the objective “Locate the tunnel entrance in the Library Gardens”.

Find and make contact with Vertigo

To Find and make contact with Vertigo, one has to locate the tunnel entrance in the Library Gardens first. The library gardens are in the north of the map. Interact with the Library’s Pavillon to find the tunnel entrance. Follow the corridor and enter the first room to the right to find Vertigo. The alternative entrance is in the cellar of the restaurant where Philo Beck is.

Recover Vertigo’s Intel

Vertigo’s Office is in the northwest of the map. There are various ways inside. The Safe needs Vertigo’s Safe Key. Make sure to search the enemies close to the office. One of them has the key.

Kill Philo Beck

Philo Beck is inside the restaurant that you can find in the center of the map, on the main road. It’s totally up to you how you kill him, of course. But from the angle shown below, you can take care of two birds with one stone…

Disrupt the Nazis’ Investigation

Personal Letters

There are 5 Personal Letters hidden on the map, and they can be tricky to find since they look like discarded pieces of paper. You’ll always find them in Objective Locations, areas you need to visit during the mission. All 5 locations are marked on the overview map below.

A Lost Soul Trembles

The Letter: A Lost Soul Trembles can be found in the Basilica Vestri Safe during the “Collect Vertigo’s Dead Drop” Objective. The safe is in the office on the second floor, just above the ground floor. You can either find the key on the ground floor next to the gramophone or use a charge satchel, which can also be found on the ground floor.

Missing You Dearly

“Missing You Dearly” is found on the ground floor of Vertigo’s office. Look for a small courtyard garden at the back on the ground floor to find it.

Surrounded by Idiots

The library is to the north of the map. Enter through the main entrance and you will find this Personal Letter on the reception desk.

A Withering Tree

There is a restaurant at the main road, just where the main gate to Vertigo’s office is and where you can find Philo Beck. Look at the tables outside to find this Personal Letter.

A Nephew’s Concern

“A Nephew’s Concern” can be found just behind the library. Someone has left it on a bench.

Classified Documents

The Classified Documents are easier to find than the letters in Sniper Elite Resistance: Dead Drop. There are 5 in total, located in Nazi camps, checkpoints, or buildings. One of these documents is often tied to completing a mission objective.

Findings Report

In the southwest center of the map, there is a horseshoe-shaped house. In front of it is a small campsite with a small wooden building with a green tarp. Here, in the construct with the green tarp is this Classified Document.

Orders to Follow

This Classified Document is on the ground floor of Vertigo’s Office in the northwest of the map.

Use the Library

This Classified Document is inside a house just east of the Central Apartments complex. On the ground floor, there is a safe that requires the “Old Town Safe Key”, which one can find in the bedroom just above the safe. This document is inside.

Tightening Security

Just in front of the heavily guarded building that holds Vertigo’s office, there is a restaurant, where you can also find Philo Beck. On the top floor, there is this Classified Document on one of the tables.

Increased Security

Follow the outside wall from St. Raymond’s main entrance toward the north to find a campsite with green tents, locked with a padlock. You can use a nearby Bolt Cutter to open the gate or cut the wire to sneak inside. The Classified Document “Increased Security” is on the table.

Hidden Items

Mission 2 has 4 Hidden Items to discover. These items fall into two categories: those truly hidden on the map and those tied to optional “blue” objectives. For the Dead Drop in Mission 2, three of the Hidden Items are linked to the optional objective, leaving just one item that is genuinely hidden on the map.

Police Report: #222

This Hidden Item – Police Report #223 is part of the files of the Objective: Disrupt the Nazis’ Investigation at the library in the north. You can find it in the west of the library on the ground floor.

Police Report: #223

This Hidden Item – Police Report #223 is part of the files of the Objective: Disrupt the Nazis’ Investigation at the library in the north. You can find it on the top floor inside a little alcove.

Police Report: #224

This Hidden Item – Police Report #224 is part of the files of the Objective: Disrupt the Nazis’ Investigation at the library in the north. It’s in the office below the library’s main entrance.

La Résistance – Propaganda Poster

The La Résistance Propaganda Poster is at the staircase that goes up to the southern outside wall, right at the entrance to St. Raymond. It’s near the access when coming from the river or coming from the tunnel.

Stone Eagles

There are 3 Stone Eagles to find and destroy on the map. Players often have mixed feelings about Stone Eagles—sometimes they’re easy to spot on high points of buildings, while other times they’re cleverly hidden. As seen in past games, some can be tricky to locate. Check the overview map below to find their locations.

1 – Library

The first Stone Eagle is sitting on top of a chimney of a house just east of the library. I spotted it while following the outside wall north and then looked to the west towards the library.

2 – Basilica

The second Stone Eagle is north of the Basilica. Make sure to exit the Basilica at the top. Right where the northern zipline is, you can see it up close and shoot it.

3 – Basilica

From the same location, you can also see and shoot the Stone Eagle on top of the building that holds Vertigo’s office. From the top of the Basilica, look to the northeast and you can shoot the Stone Eagle from there.

Workbenches

The Dead Drop map has three workbenches: a rifle workbench, a pistol workbench, and an SMG workbench. Each workbench lets snipers unlock new weapon parts and customize their gear.

Rifle Workbench

The Rifle Workbench is on the top floor of the southwesternmost building. It’s inside a Nazi locker room, locked with a padlock.

Pistol Workbench

In the northeast of the map is another one of many tunnel entrances. Inside this tunnel is a locked gate. Open it with the Bolt Cutter and interact with the workbench in the room.

SMG Workbench

The SMG Workbench is at the ground floor of Vertigo’s office. Look for a locked area with a padlock. Destroy the padlock and enter the room to get to the workbench.
