Starting the Mission

Begin the mission by speaking with the quest giver in the Mission of San Juan. You’ll be directed to investigate the cemetery area. Follow the map marker to locate a woman near the cemetery and initiate a conversation with her.

Finding the Hidden Treasure

After speaking to the woman, talk to the children nearby to gather more information.

They will point you toward a hidden treasure located at the well. Search the well to uncover the treasure. Once collected, return it to the children.

Repairing the Cross and Solving the Riddle

Speak to the woman again to proceed. She will task you with repairing a broken cross. Once the cross is fixed, examine it carefully to uncover the inscription, “Look through me to find the way.”

Follow the alignment of the crosses along a marked path using your enhanced senses. Eventually, you’ll reach the final cross, which you can push to reveal a hidden mechanism. This opens a path leading to the crypt.

Entering the Crypt

With the entrance revealed, head inside and follow the path downward. Use the climbing walls and rappel points to descend further into the crypt. Isabella will guide you to the area where the sarcophagus lies, sitting near a fire.

Talk to Isabella and then open the sarcophagus to claim the Vestige reward. Afterward, you’ll need to locate the crypt’s exit.

Finding the Exit

Navigate through the room, identifying a small gap at the base of a wall that you can crawl through. On the other side, there’s a mural next to another gap. Before venturing through, explore the opposite direction to discover a document and some jade behind a shotgun-breakable barricade.

Once ready, go through the gap, where you’ll find more documents and collectible items. Use the grapple swing to cross gaps and climb walls to proceed further.

Exiting the Crypt

The final section involves using a lever to open a gate. Pass through it, execute a grapple swing, and climb up to rope-pull a barricaded passage. Continue climbing to make your way out of the crypt.

Concluding the Mission

After exiting, return to the mission giver in the Mission of San Juan. Follow the mission marker to Manu and speak with him to finalize the mission. The quest’s main goal involves solving the tomb puzzle located in the southeast before returning to Manu to complete your task.
