There are 2 Crypts in Kuwaq Yaku, Shadow of the Tomb Raider.

Crypt 1 Location and Walkthrough

The first crypt is located in the northeast area of Kuwaq Yaku. To access it, you need a shotgun to clear the blocked entrance. If you haven’t acquired the shotgun yet, progress further in the main story until it becomes available.

Upon entering, you’ll find the reward, the Condor Cowl of Urqu, a Vestige gear piece that increases your survival abilities. Follow the straightforward path to reach the sarcophagus, and then exit using the same route.

Crypt 2 Location and Walkthrough

You’ll find the second crypt to the west of the Kuwaq Yaku Base Camp. Start by locating the small flooded cave at the entrance. Swim through the narrow underwater passage to get inside.

Once inside, follow the path until you encounter a blocked section. Use a fire arrow to open the way and proceed. Be cautious on the sliding sections and avoid traps by steering left or right. At the end of the slide, use your Grapple Axe to safely cross to the next area.

The reward in this crypt is another Vestige gear piece stored in the sarcophagus at the end of the path. To exit, retrace your route by grappling and climbing back the way you came.
