Batcave Trophy: Bonsai Trees

Find and destroy 5 Bonsai Trees in this Mission to receive the Batcave Trophy: Bonsai Trees. Each tree adds up to the total of 170 Trophy Collectibles. Therefore, you will have 5 of 170 Trophy Collectibles after destroying all five Bonsai Trees.

Here’s where they are:

1: The tree that you have to destroy to unblock a vent in the story.

2: At the bottom level, when going to the throne room.

3: At the top of the temple, finding a way out.

4: Before reaching the courtyard.

5: At the start of Ra’s Al Ghul

Red Brick: Ninja

There is a secret room below the temple. Keep your eyes open and follow golden studs!

Glacier Fight

Mission 2 starts with a fight from the offset, where you have to defeat a group of Ninjas with the things you’ve learned in Mission 1: The League of Shadows.

Infiltration

Before sneaking to the target, look behind you to find a blue stud. Then use the vent to sneak under the floor.

For Fun: Hot Tub

You can soak in the hot tub.

A Bonsai Tree is blocking the exit. Keep going in the underfloor corridor to find another exit. In this room, shoot the hinge of the rope that holds the chandelier that is hanging over the Bonsai pot that is blocking the vent exit. This will destroy the Bonsai Tree (1 of 5 to destroy in the area).

Destroy 5 Bonsai Trees in this Infiltration level to receive the Bonsai Trees Batcave Trophy as a reward. Destroying the plant above the vent exit counts as 1 of 5 Bonsai Trees and toward 1 of 170 trophy collectibles.

For Fun: Big Bounce

In the same room, look for a big, round cushion. Jump on it and perform a Big Bounce by jumping while on the cushion to reach the blue brick at the top.

You can now exit where the Bonsai Tree stood to go to the Throne Room. Take down the two guards on the exit (Talia will take care of the other one), then the one down below. The second takedown has to be well timed. There is one guard patrolling the area.

Take care of the patrolling guard, and the coast is clear on this level. There are two ninjas patrolling the ground floor level. Remember: You can use “Detect” to find them. They will have a red outline. Grapple to the ledge above to continue. Take your time to have a look at the ground floor. There is a purple stud and two blue studs to be discovered. Purple: Near the ninja who doesn’t move. Blue: At the 2 Big Bounce cushions (there are two on the ground floor).

Destroy 5 Bonsai Trees in this Infiltration level to receive the Bonsai Trees Batcave Trophy as a reward. There is a Bonsai Tree on the ground floor level here. Destroy it for Bonsai Tree 2 of 5.

Continue by grappling to the top floor, where the three ninjas are. One of them can be taken down by hanging onto the ledge. As for the other two, I let one of them notice me, so they moved to the ledge, while I dropped down onto the rail again to take them down from there. Same with the last ninja.

Enter the throne room. There are four ninjas there. They are all facing forward. You can also go around the back to find a blue stud. Then you can take them out from behind.

Notice that the chandelier has two hinges holding it. Shoot one of them. Be careful, the chandelier will crash down. Destroy all of the chandelier mechanisms, and you will be able to build a winch for the throne grapple.

Pick up the winch and attach it to the throne grapple hook. Then, turn the winch to get a bed-trampoline.

While on the bed, jump again to get a Big Bounce. It will take you up one level. You will find a blue stud and a bonsai tree here.

Batcave Trophy: Bonsai Trees: Destroy 5 Bonsai Trees

Destroy 5 Bonsai Trees in this Infiltration level to receive the Bonsai Trees Batcave Trophy as a reward. Bonsai Tree 3 of 5 is on this level, just around the corner. If you see the golden studs, just follow them to the tree and destroy it.

To get out of the Throne Room, look for a crawlspace and use it. Careful, there are ninjas patrolling on the other side. Use “Detect” to see them.

Time it right to take down the two ninjas together with Talia. Then, take down the last guard up on the balcony, and you’re outside. There are two more guards down below to take care of.

For Fun: Relax!

Before building something to cross the gap, you can relax a little!

To cross the gap, scan the area and destroy the highlighted objects. You can also destroy things by throwing a shuriken! Build a giant crossbow and use it to cross the gap on a rope.

On the other side, hang onto the ledge and shimmy to the right. Take down the guard. Keep following the golden stud line to the right and drop down to find a crawlspace and a blue stud.

Red Brick Collectible: Ninja Modifier

Follow the golden studs on the ledge and drop down to find a crawlspace.

Go through the crawlspace and enter a secret room with two statues and four pressure plates. There are two stacks of books you can pick up and put on two of the pressure plates. Talia and Bruce will take care of the other two. This will reward you with 1 of 23 Red Brick collectibles.

Return to the upstairs balcony, where you have taken down a ninja before, and climb inside. There are two vents you can use to crawl underneath the floor.

Both vents lead to the same room, which has two ninjas and a puzzle on the wall. Exit the vent and take down one ninja. Talia will take care of the second one. Scan the area to see two pressure plates that release two cranks when you stand on them.

Use the cranks to solve the puzzle on the wall. It has to look the same as the symbols next to the puzzle. This will open the door, and you can enter the temple. Grapple up to the crawlspace above the locked entrance door. By the way, there is a bonsai tree behind the locked door. Crawl through the crawlspace and exit on the other side.

Batcave Trophy: Bonsai Trees: Destroy 5 Bonsai Trees

Destroy 5 Bonsai Trees in this Infiltration level to receive the Bonsai Trees Batcave Trophy as a reward. Bonsai Tree 4 of 5 is just behind you when dropping down from the crawlspace.

There are two guards patrolling the next section. Take them down, then take care of the third one on the balcony.

Descend by jumping on top of the flag poles. Then, continue on the ropes. Just follow the silver studs until you’ve reached the outside of the main temple area.

Keep following the silver studs to an area with two ninjas and two crows. And head out to one of the grapple overview points.

Take care of the ninjas below as you’ve learned. There is more than enough cover. Don’t forget to use “Detect” to see them. Also, don’t forget the blue stud on one of the grapple points. Then, solve the puzzle on the Combat Training gate. First, turn the right crank into the right position, then the left one.

Fun?: Egg

There is an egg just below one of the starting grapple points. You can get to it by walking the narrow ledge of the watchtower below the grapple point and dropping down. If you hit it, it will release a burst of flowers and disappear.

After the cutscene, defeat Ra’s in a boss fight.

Ra’s Al Ghul

After the fight against Ra’s, you have to escape the temple.

Destroy 5 Bonsai Trees in this Infiltration level to receive the Bonsai Trees Batcave Trophy as a reward. Right in the starting area, go to the left to find Bonsai Tree 5 of 5.

After the fight against Ra’s, you have to escape the temple. More Ninjas will appear when you approach the exit. Defeat all of them to allow Ra’s to appear again, constructing another exit.

Grapple up on the exit and jump onto the pillars below. Careful: There are falling rocks. Time your crossing. Grapple on the other side and again to get near the exit.

Before leaving, make sure to head into the burning room to the right to find a purple stud. Destroy the furniture ahead to reach it.

Now you can head up to the exit. Dodge the falling rocks and avoid the burning flames from below. Everything will collapse, and you have to walk on a pillar to reach the top, where Ra’s Al Ghul attacks again. Fight and defeat him and his ninjas to end the mission.
