The Midtown District is in the center of the in-game map of New York City with seven different side activities. All of them are introduced in the main quest. Check out the overview map below if you’re just looking for a single item or go through it step-by-step to achieve 100% completion in Midtown. Those activities will give you tech parts, rare tech parts, and city tokens. You will get additional Hero Tokens for a 100% district completion.
Some of these activities can be started with the FNSM App – The Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man App by swiping your controller or by opening it in the in-game menu.
Finishing every single activity in the whole of New York will reward you with new suits.
There are two of Marko’s Memories in the Midtown District. Here’s where they are:
The “Fade to Black” memory is in the eastern part of Midtown, on top of a roof. Look for the sand.
This sand crystal is in the southwestern corner of the Midtown map – in yet another alley.
There are two Photo Ops in Midtown. Here’s where they are. To take the photo swipe up on your controller to open up photo mode. Then, move your camera until you see the notification “Subject in Focus” – now you can take the picture.
AUDITION PIECE – PHOTO OP
There is a man with a funny hat standing at the entrance of the Radio City Music Hall in Midtown. Take a picture of him.
WE HAVEN’T FORGOTTEN – PHOTO OP
Head over to the Oscorp building in the northwest corner of Midtown. There are still protesters… take a picture of them.
There is a single FNSM Request in Midtown named “Photo Help”, starting at the center of the Midtown Map.
To complete this FNSM Request, you’ll need Peter Parker. Once you arrive at the location, you’ll have the option to switch. Mina wants to capture the same candid picture of Spider-Man that Peter Parker took earlier. Interact with the picture to relive the moment it was taken to the Daily Bugle.
As Peter Parker, ride the bike down the road, to the park while talking to Jameson. In the park, beat up the thugs. Check on the civilian and pick up the same picture from the floor near the bike. Now run to the Daily Bugle to deliver the photograph to Jameson.
This will take Peter back to Mina in the present, where he will pose for a photo.
Situated in the top right corner of the Midtown map, look for a purple glow on a rooftop.
HOW TO ACCESS THE PROWLER STASH?
To locate the Stash, begin by scanning the area with R3. Subsequently, hold down the L2 button to uncover the initial code. Look for the American Flag at the side of the building and the “Braxton” advert. Sit on the flag and scan the Braxton sign. Then, manipulate both the left and right controller sticks into the highlighted area, maintaining this position until the code stabilizes.
Stay right there where you are on the American Flag and yank the Braxton Sign to you with L1+R1. This will reveal a vent entrance. Enter the vent with L2+R2.
HOW TO HANDLE THE LASERS?
Inside the vent, you will have to avoid moving lasers when moving forward. There are two moving laser beams and a moving ventilator at the end. Stop the ventilator with your webs (R1) before you move forward.
Continue to follow the ventilator shaft while avoiding the moving lasers and stop a second ventilator with your webs to be able to go through.
More moving lasers after the second ventilator.
COLLECT THE PROWLER STASH
The vault safe is at the end of this shaft. Pick up the shaft and exit through the vent hatch on the other side.
ALL SPIDER-BOTS LOCATIONS IN MIDTOWN
In the Midtown District, you’ll find three Spider-Bots. Midtown is situated in the center of New York City, bordering the Upper East Side, Central Park, Hell’s Kitchen, and Chinatown. Check out the overview map below for easy reference of all three spider-bot collectibles.
On a sunny afternoon, you might catch a glimpse of a mischievous Spider-Monkey playfully perched on the southern side of the majestic Empire State Building. The towering building overlooks the bustling cityscape of New York.
This spider is perched atop one of the walls of the tallest buildings in the northern part of Midtown. Look on the side facing north.
Find the crawler on the side wall of a building near the southern border of Midtown, going towards Greenwich.
The Mysterium is called “The Invisible Enemy” and is in the center north of Midtown.
Perform 6 Finishers (Triangle+Square Buttons)
Gold: < 2:10
Silver: < 2:40
Bronze: > 2:40
This Unidentified Targets side activity is in the southwest corner of Midtown. Look for three metal birds cycling a tall glass office building. Get to the roof and interact with the transmitter. You then have to follow the bird through the wind canal before it escapes. In the slipstream, you just have to steer left and right to follow it.
