Harlem is in the northwestern corner of the in-game map of New York City with seven different side activities. All of them are introduced in the main quest. Check out the overview map below if you’re just looking for a single item or go through it step-by-step to achieve 100% completion in Harlem. Those activities will give you tech parts, rare tech parts, and city tokens. You will get additional Hero Tokens for a 100% district completion.
Some of these activities can be started with the FNSM App – The Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man App by swiping your controller or by opening it in the in-game menu.
Finishing every single activity in the whole of New York will reward you with new suits.

PHOTO OPS
There is only one of many photo op locations in Harlem and here’s where it is. To take the photo swipe up on your controller to open up photo mode. Then, move your camera until you see the notification “Subject in Focus” – now you can take the picture.
THE CITY GAME – PHOTO OP
In the main game, this is the first photo to be taken. There are two people playing basketball at the location below. Take a foto of them.
ALL HUNTER BLINDS AND HUNTER BASE IN HARLEM
The Overview Map displays the locations of the three Hunter Blinds and the Base. You can only uncover the Hunter Bases if you take care of the Hunter Blinds. So in the first phase, fight all the bad guys at the three hunter blinds. They are always on the rooftop of a building. You then interact with the metal bird to either uncover the Hunter Base’s weaknesses or find the Hunter Base itself.
In the Harlem Hunter Base, you’ll find three vehicle turrets that can be sabotaged by interacting with the Communications Console. One turret is indoors, while the other two are in the courtyard. To sabotage them, simply pull the cable out of the wall using R1+L1.
To access the locked room where the Communications Console is located, use a vent. Use R3 to scan the area and identify the highlighted mission objectives. Interacting with the Communications Console is the main objective to complete the Hunter Base, while the turrets are optional.
ALL SPIDER-BOTS LOCATIONS IN HARLEM
In the Harlem District, you’ll find three Spider-Bots. Harlem is situated in the northwestern part of New York City, bordering the Upper West Side, Central Park, and the Upper East Side to the south. Check out the overview map below for easy reference of all three Spider Bots collectibles and find their exact locations below the overview map.
1) ACROSS THE SPIDER-VERSE – 2) ANYA CORAZON – 3) ULTIMATE
ACROSS THE SPIDER-VERSE
To locate the first Spider-bot in this guide, the best way is to go to the top of a building at the location shown on the map below and look down the alleys. It’s climbing on the north side of a red-bricked apartment building near the Central Park border, the south center of the district.
ANYA CORAZON
The Bot is climbing a wall on the west side of a white building in East Harlem, just west of one of the Hunter Blinds. Keep an eye out for a colorful mural of a woman, presumably Anya Corazon, and scan for it whenever you see a pink energy bubble popping out regularly.
ULTIMATE
At the southwestern part of the Harlem map, you’ll find a park and a small building with a round dome. The Spider-Bot is located on the western wall of this building.
MYSTERIUM IN HARLEM
Mysteriums are revealed in the Main Mission, where Miles has to play a DJ Guitar Hero at Coney Island. I would suggest that you do those Mysteriums in the late game. Because then you will have upgraded Spider-Man to be stronger, faster, and with more skills.
The Mysterium in Harlem is called “Under Construction” and is in the eastern part of Harlem right at a Construction Site. Like all mysterium challenges, you have to achieve something in a certain amount of time. Here’s what you need to do in Harlem:
Defeat 20 enemies as quickly as possible.
Gold: < 1:00
Silver: < 1:30
Bronze: > 1:30
Completing each Mysterium at least once – no matter if you’ve achieved gold or not – will end with a Mysterio Boss Fight at Coney Island.
CULTURAL MUSEUM
During the Main Story, players will come across the Cultural Museum Side Story Missions as Miles Morales. If you get there as Peter Parker, you can switch easily to Miles. There are a total of two of these Side Missions. Here’s a guide on their locations and how to complete them.
BEBOP – HARLEM
TRACKING THE BURGLARS
This is the first Cultural Museum Side Story Mission that becomes available after activation during the main story. First thing, head to the trumpet-marked location in the northeast of Harlem. Once on the roof, simply interact with the door to initiate the mission.
To reach the museum in the western part of Harlem, look for the turquoise mission marker. When you get close, a cutscene will begin. Your objective is to find trucks transporting stolen exhibits. Press L2 to scan the area. Take note of the liquid residue on one side of the tracks and interact with it.
Begin chemical minigame to eliminate 26 corrupted atoms. However, only 5 need to be destroyed to solve the puzzle. Follow the chemical tracks to discover a courtyard in the heart of Harlem. Defeat the burglars in this area and unlock the truck located at the rear.
FIND THE SAXOPHONE
The truck is empty. Just at this moment, somebody’s phone is ringing and you go find it and pick it up. It’s on top of a nearby wooden box. Thankfully, there is a text that gives Miles another lead. Someone found a saxophone that the burglars had lost. You will get a mission marker on the map for the park in the east. Head to the marker and interact with the door on the roof, where you can change into Miles.
In the park, you can ask people about the trumpet player. Ask Steff first. She is in the center of the park, listening to the drummers. She will tell you that she’s seen the trumpet player on the far end. On the way there, you can ask Camila at the food truck. She will point out, that she can hear a trumpet. Just follow the sound and you will find Teo and his Spider-Cat.
After chatting with Teo, Miles reverts back to Spider-Man, and a new mission marker appears in the western part of Harlem, right at the border of the Upper West Side. At this location, there is a distressed witness standing in front of a shattered shop window. Take a moment to scan the area, specifically looking for a Sledgehammer in the shop window. Proceed by walking around the block to reach the building’s backyard, where you’ll confront a group of thugs. Once you’ve dealt with them, have a conversation with Eugene on the floor, who will reward you with the lost Saxophone. This will successfully conclude the mission.
HARD BOP – HARLEM
In the second phase of this Side Story, you’ll take care of the mastermind behind the thefts at the museum and it starts at this location:
Take down the criminals and have a chat with Darren, only to be confronted by another group of wrongdoers. After the skirmish, Darren flees the scene in his car. Pursue and apprehend him, bringing him to justice for his misdeeds.
Following the cutscene, you assume the role of Miles at the Harlem Cultural Center. In the final phase of this side mission, enjoy yourself, explore the captivating exhibits (just press triangle), and delve into authentic history before reuniting with his mother.
UNIDENTIFIED TARGETS
This Unidentified Targets side activity is covered during the main story. In the main story mission, Spider-Man has to chase a metal bird and stay in a slipstream/wind tunnel to download data.
SYMBIOTE NESTS
There are two nests at Harlem. Place the sonic bombs and defend them until the time runs off.
The first is in the southeast corner of the Harlem map. It’s only one heart. Place the sonic bomb and defend it.
The second is in the center of the Harlem map. There is only one heart.
