Are you struggling to find the 3 Penguins in the Side Quest Hide and Squeak? Don’t know where they are hiding? Here’s the complete quest walkthrough step-by-step.
SIDE QUEST START
The quest starts near the spaceship. Talk to the Spark with the attached balloon. It wants you to find 3 Penguins and throw them on the ship in the lake. They are all hiding more or less around the lake. But where?
PENGUIN 1
The first Penguin is hiding the best and is the hardest to get! Go through this pipe east of the Quest Giver. The pipe’s location is shown on the screenshots below.
On the other side is a large wave block. Use the wave ability to drop it. Now you can cross over.
Also crush the next block with your wave ability. There is a white pipe behind it. Slide through it.
On the other side is the Penguin’s little playground. Chase it and pick it up. Then, go down towards the ship and throw it, when the ship is glowing red.
PENGUIN 2
The second Penguin is hiding inside a big wave block across the river from the robot shop. Use your wave ability to destroy the block. Then you can pick up the Penguin and throw it onto the ship like you did with the first one.
PENGUIN 3
The third and last Penguin is trapped on top of a tree north of the robot shop. Shake the tree and you can just pick up the Penguin. Throw it onto the ship like before.
CLEANSE THE LAKE OF THE DARKMESS PUDDLE
Oh no! The Darkmess strikes again! Go down to the lake and interact with the Darkmess Puddle to fight it.
In this fight are 3 Darkmess Eyes that need to be destroyed with an egg each. Dash the egg and throw it onto the Darkmess Eyes three times.
At the end, Regenesis will join you.
