In Come Rain or Shine is the second story quest at Beacon Beach and it continues right after you’ve triumphed over the Darkmess Tentacle in the IN DEEP WATER Story Quest.
FAST ACCESS
Enter the Lighthouse
Defeat the guard protecting the Darkmess Egg
Get to the top of the Lighthouse
Triumph over the Darkmess Tentacle!
ENTER THE LIGHTHOUSE
Exit the Temple Catacombs of the Sunrise Temple to the north west. Climb up the ladder and enter a small room at the back.
Make sure you also pick up the Planet Coin in this little room:
Then take the set up ladders up and exit the house through the front door.
Now you’re back in the center of Beacon Beach Town. The Lighthouse is to the north, so let’s go there.
Enter the lighthouse. You’ll also get a new Sparks called AQUANOX here.
DEFEAT THE GUARD
Inside the lighthouse, on ground level, is an enemy defending an egg. Defeat him in a fight, dash through the egg, pick it up and throw it at the tentacle to destroy it.
GET TO THE TOP OF THE LIGHTHOUSE
Take the staircase up. On this floor, there is a blue shining platform that makes the tentacle to the left disappear when you stand on it. Just move the nearby box onto this platform. You will see how to move it. There are markings on the floor.
Now you can pick up the yellow cube behind the blue tentacle and put it inside the device near the staircase up.
Now you can go up the stairs and defeat the guard there. Then dash through the egg, pick it up and throw it at the tentacle.
Now you can pull the box onto the glowing platform to open up the last bit of the staircase.
Now go upstairs, exit the lighthouse and defeat the Darkness Tentacle to finish this quest.
You’ll get the second PURIFIED DARKMESS ENERGY CRYSTAL.
You can now either go to the next planet or continue with the Side Quests at Beacon Beach.
