1. Chests
At the Lighthouse, you’ll discover just two Chest collectibles. To access them, you’ll need to progress significantly through the story and master the use of “Wisps.”
1.1. Watchtower
Access to the Watchtower is obtained through one of the sealed round doors positioned at the heart of the main library. After you unlock the Music Room, you’ll encounter a Wisp on the Library Balcony, which can be utilized at the sealed passage within that room. This portal will transport you to the Watchtower, where a chest and a collectible scroll await your discovery.
While at the Watchtower, take the crystal to the beam mechanism and direct the beam toward the three crystals suspended in the air. This action will awaken one wisp for each crystal. The wisps will then descend, enter the lighthouse, and embed themselves in the locked passage located at the center table.
1.2. The Wolf’s Den
The three wisps have now firmly embedded themselves in the final locked brick wall door at the center of the lighthouse. Enter this door and step through the portal to reach “The Wolf’s Den.” Inside, you’ll discover the second collectible chest along with a codex scroll.
2. Codex Library
Certain Codex entries are obtained by completing quests or are acquired during the quests themselves. My focus is on the Codex Library Scrolls and the various items that can be found throughout the world.
This section is organized by location, prioritizing accessibility and pickup as you progress through the story.
2.1. Meditation Chamber
Miscellaneous: On Life in the Lighthouse
Following the Story Quest “Shadows Crossing,” your room—the Meditation Chamber—will become accessible. There, you can discover the Scroll titled “On Life in the Lighthouse,” located atop the bookshelf.
2.2. Music Room
Miscellaneous: Memories of a Duet
The entrance to the Music Room is located beside the table within the Lighthouse. Initially, it is blocked off when you arrive. However, after completing the Story Quest “Shadows Crossing,” you can unlock it by following these steps:
There are six statues with handlebars located outside the Lighthouse. Please turn them to face one another, creating pairs. Here’s their location:
Pair 1: Behind the Workshop – Behind the Study
Pair 2: Courtyard Staircase – Dining Hall
Pair 3: Center, top floor Courtyard
You can then enter the room next to the table and pick up the Library Scroll in the Music Room.
2.3. Study
Miscellaneous: On Divine Imperatives
Below Neve’s quarters, the Study is the Library Scroll: Miscellaneous – On Divine Imperatives.
2.4. Dining Hall
Miscellaneous: Notes on a Caretaker
After rescuing Lucanis during the “Sea of Blood” quest, you’ll discover this scroll on a smaller table in the Dining Hall.
The Elven People: Food Inventory
Miscellaneous: Waterlogged Notes on the Lighthouse
Later in the narrative, two scrolls will be discovered beneath the staircase.
The Shadow Dragons: Odes to Seven Antivans, Page 3
Later in the story, you will discover a scroll resting on the coffee table in the Dining Hall.
2.5. Pantry
The Antivan Crows – The Joyous Wyvern
I discovered this scroll in Lucanis’ bedroom, specifically after completing the story quest “The Cobbed Swan Case” in the Pantry.
2.6. Library Balcony
Miscellaneous: On Leaving the Lighthouse
Access to the Library Balcony is through the Music Room. You’ll find a circular brick wall entrance adorned with two crystal sockets. To unlock it, you need to play until you’ve recruited Emmrich. Afterward, you will discover two Wisps at the Lighthouse: one inside the Music Room and the other outside the Lighthouse building, up the stairs by Pair 3 of the 6 Statues puzzle.
Guide the Wisps to the sockets to unlock the doorway leading to the Library Balcony. There, you will discover a small, unmarked chest along with a book containing the Codex entry.
Activate the blue crystal to restore the Lighthouse’s centerpiece and earn 500 Caretaker Power.
2.6. Storage Room
The Lords of Fortune: Taash’s Horn
The Storage Room is where Taash resides, and you can find this scroll here.
2.8. Laboratory
The Mourn Watch: Rare Poetry
Continue following the narrative, and you will ultimately discover this scroll in Emmrich’s room.
2.9. Watchtower
Miscellaneous: Logs from the Watchtower
Later in the story, you’ll discover a Wisp at the Library Balcony that can be used at the sealed passage in the same room. This portal will transport you to the Watchtower, where you’ll find a scroll next to one of the two collectible chests.
2.10. The Wolf’s Den
Miscellaneous: On Rifts and Ritual Research
Awaken the three wisps as detailed in the first chest collectible section above. They have now embedded themselves within the final locked bricked wall door at the center of the lighthouse. Enter this door and pass through the portal to reach “The Wolf’s Den.” Here, you will discover the second collectible chest along with this codex scroll.
2.11. Workshop
The Dwarven People: Harding’s Favorite Foods
As the story advances, you can also find this scroll in Bellara’s room, the Workshop.
