Get a 100% completion at Episode 4: Hunk of Junk with all Minikits and Challenges collected!
How to get the Kyber Bricks
Collect enough small LEGO studs in the playthrough to fill all the bars at the top of the screen and reach “True Jedi” (the white, the blue and the purple bar).
Also make sure to destroy everything you can to collect them.
You can also go back to already picked up Minikits. They all have a purple stud now in their place. This will boost you towards the “True Jedi” achievement!
Complete the Story, collect all Minikits and complete all Challenges. You’ll get a brick each as reward.
How to get the Minikits – 5
If you are struggling after the written text, watch my video below. It’s commented and explains the Minikits one after the other.
Minikits video start time: 10:23 or follow this LINK to YouTube.
1 – High Maintenance
In one of the alcoves of the hangar is a framework where you can shoot some nets so you can climb up to get the Minikit. Get your friendly Scavenger out, select the Net Launcher and shoot them up. The rest is just climbing.
2 – Lost Property
In the hangar, look for a closed area with a red terminal in front. Use a Villain to open it. Then, have a look around in the hangar for a Gonk. It’s one of those square, brown droids with one big black eye. Hop on it and ride to the now open hangar area, where Gonk takes care of the power. It is a small production lane. Out comes a Minikit.
3 – Secret Stash
For this Minikit, you have to advance in the story, until the Stormtroopers are coming down with the elevator. Then fix it and take it up. There is no need to fix the antenna yet. There is a room up here that has a Minikit in it. Just turn right after you came up with the elevator and go inside the next room to the left. Smash all the boxes you see.
4 – Docking Bay Storage
Back down in the hangar, look for an orange terminal for a Hero and use it to open the gate.
Inside are two big red boxes that you can grab. Pull them both to the outside and the Minikit will come out at the centre.
5 – Emergency Exit
Advance in the story until the Stormtroopers are coming down with the elevator. Repair the elevator, go up and take care of the antenna that is needed for the story. After this, all the doors will open on the upper floor and you can go through one to get the Minikit.
How to do the Challenges – 3
If you are struggling after the written text, watch my video below. It’s commented and explains the Challenges one after the other.
All Challenges video start time: 13:09 or follow this LINK to YouTube.
1 – Absolute Scoundrel
“Use the environment to your advantage against the Stormtroopers.”
Right at the start of the Hunk of the Junk level, take out a Scoundrel like Chewie or Han Solo and aim at the purple aim symbol at the construct above the Stormtroopers. It will fall down on them and you’ll get the Challenge.
2 – Don’t Get Cocky
“Defeat 3 Stormtroopers with hidden turrets.”
Look around for a Gonk. It’s one of those brown, square droids with legs and a big black eye. Jump on it and take it to one of the docking points in the hangar. This will cause some turrets to activate. Just wait for the turrets to defeat 3 Stormtroopers and you get this Challenge.
3 – Chewie, Get Us Out of Here!
“Find different ways of blocking the Stormtrooper reinforcements.”
Firstly, there are two Astromech Terminals on the entrance doors at ground level. Use both of them with an Astromech to block the doors. One of them you have to free the access to by shooting the scaffolding away.
Secondly, destroy everything in the alcoves at ground level. In one you can either build an electric barrier or a turret. Build the electric barrier. You can come back after it’s been destroyed to build the turret.
Lastly, after you activate the satellite dish in the story, all the big gates will open on the upper floor and the Stormtroopers flush in. Again, use the Astromech Terminal on the upper floor with an Astromech Droid. This will cause the gates to close again. Now you’ll have the Challenge.
