LEGO Batman Legacy: All Waylon Jones Cases

1 – Mission 10 Introduction

Coordinates: 221, 771

This is the first Case of Waylon Jones, introduced in Mission 10: Two-Face. Talk to Detective Bullock to start the case.

All three areas to investigate have a hat symbol on screen and on the world map. Talk to the man standing nearby, next to a policeman. He claims that he just ate a hot dog in the underpass. Go down to the underpass, and you will find a hot dog, where you can use Batman’s UV Vision.

Follow the traces of hotdog remnants past the third hat symbol at the bottom of the stairs to a hidden door. Switch to Robin and pry open the door to find the missing diamonds.

Go to the last investigation hat symbol at the bottom of the stairs to investigate. Rotate and inspect the stick. Waylon Jones is innocent and the hotdog guy is guilty. Return to Detective Bullock to complete the investigation.

2 – Mugged Off (East End)

Coordinates: 397, 863

This is the only Case of Waylon Jones at the East End district and is the only one available after the introduction case at Gotham Village in Mission 10: Two-Face.

Detective Bullock is waiting at the shopping overpass in the center of New Town. Start the investigation by talking to him.

Talk to the nearby victim in purple and pink clothing (1 of 4 Investigation Points). She got mugged. The thief disappeared into the nearby alley between the Detective and the victim. In the alley are three things to investigate:
-> Analyse the pizza on the floor for DNA.
-> Inspect the discarded purse on the floor (rotate for the clue)
-> Use Batman’s UV Vision on the footprints.

Follow the footprints in UV Vision to the bike stand. Then follow the bike tracks to the nearby ramp. Return to Detective Bullock to close the case.

3 – Sewer Footed (Gotham Village)

Coordinates: 286, 687

This is the third case, after Mugged Off in the East End district. Detective Bullock is in the southeast of Gotham Village near the Botanical Gardens. Talk to him to start the case.

There are five things to investigate here. Talk to the two witnesses by the stairs. Then jump down to the underpass section to investigate the broken barrier and lantern.

The third investigation point is a broken boulder. Rotate it to find green scratchmarks. For the fourth point, use Robin or Nightwing to connect the trailer with the car. Then talk to the person who appears.

Finally, investigate and analyse the manhole to find non-human DNA. Return to Detective Bullock to close this case.

4 – The Clawed Crusader (Cauldron North)

Coordinates: 246, 513

This is the fourth Case of Waylon Jones. Right after Sewer-Footed at Gotham Village.

Talk to Detective Bullock, standing by the road in the southeast of The Cauldron North.

Talk to the nearby victim, then use Batman’s Thermal Vision and follow the footprints.

They lead down the alley to a wall with green scratchmarks leading up the house. Interact with the scratchmark. Then, grapple up to the roof of this house and analyse the debris on the floor.

Return to the alley at the ground floor. There is a lever Robin or Nightwing can use with the staff. This will move a crane. Connect the crane’s hook with a nearby box on top of the dumpster by using Nightwing’s Cable Launcher. Talk to the person inside the dumpster. Then, return to Detective Bullock to close the case.

5 – Tipping the Scales (Old Gotham South)

Coordinates: 360, 308

This is the fifth Case of Waylon Jones. Right after The Clawed Crusader in the Cauldron South.

Detective Bullock is waiting on top of a building in the northeast of Old Gotham South.

The area to investigate is upstairs from Detective Bullock. Talk to the construction worker there. He will pull a switch. Follow the power cable down to the waterfront. You will see that the power needs to be flowing from right to left through three power switches. Select Nightwing and use his Electric Briarang to select all three power boxes from right to left. Then shoot to direct the power to the elevator to the left.

Climb up to the elevator platform and analyse the scratchmarks with Batman. Then, jump to the ground level and follow the scratchmarks to a pile of boxes. Destroy the boxes to reveal a scratchmark where Batman can use UV Vision.

Follow the scratchmarks to another pile of boxes. Destroy the pile to reveal another set of scratches, where Batman can use UV Vision on. Follow them to a big manhole.

Destroy the boxes here and use UV Vision again on the new set of scratches. Follow them to a wall. Interact with it to find Waylon Jones in his other form. Talk to them. This will complete the case and you are rewarded the Batman ’66 Motorcycle for Batgirl to buy at the Garage.

6 – Investi-gator (Newtown)

Coordinates: 345, 666

This is the sixth Case of Waylon Jones. Right after Tipping the Scales in Old Gotham South.

You’ll find Detective Bullock at a café next to a big minifigure statue in the northwest of Newtown; Gotham Square Garden.

Talk to the witness standing on top of a glass roof not far from the detective. Then, drop down to the ground-level to find a green liquid to analyse on the floor.

Use Batman’s UV Vision and follow the tracks to a big vent, where Waylon is hiding in. Move the dumpster and collect the postcard behind it. Return to Detective Bullock to close the case.

7 – A Croc and a Hard Place (Cauldron South)

Coordinates: 171, 373

This is the seventh Case of Waylon Jones. Right after Investi-gator in Newtown.

Waylon Jones is waiting, hiding inside a manhole. Talk to him there, in the south of The Cauldron South.

Next, you have to find out what the GCPD are planning in regards to “Killer Croc”. Enter the building through the nearby shutter. Once inside, investigate the document underneath a brown table.

Then, charge the nearby generator with Nightwing’s staff and charge the nearby, movable generator with the cable launcher.

Switch to Batman and use his Bat Claw to pull off the vent cover off the wall. There is a power plug behind it. Switch back to Nightwing and move the generator only so far that the power cable stays connected and you can connect it to the other power plug. This will power up the projector and you can read what’s on it.

Talk to Detective Bullock at the back of the room. Then, head upstairs and turn the control wheel to open the door to the next room. Tinker with the computer inside the room and analyse the weapons in the locker. Return to Waylon Jones to close the case.

8 – The Case of Waylon Jones (Gotham Village)

Coordinates: 307, 773

This is the last case of Waylon Jones, right after A Croc and a Hard Place at The Cauldron South. Talk to Waylon Jones in the manhole close to the Hippodrome.

Meet Waylon behind the Hippodrome and interact with the scratchmarks on the floor. Then defeat him in a boss fight. Then return to the same manhole to talk to him again. This will complete the last of the Case of Waylon Jones activities and reward you with a yellow skill brick.
