Kay and Nix encounter Captain Covell, an Imperial Officer, at Mirogana City Market. He possesses sensitive information intended for Gorak, the Pyke Syndicate leader. Will Kay comply, or does she harbor alternative intentions?
Key Quest Steps:
1 – Talk to Captain Covell
-> At Mirogana City Market.
2 – How to enter the “Imperial Forward Base”
-> Find the best spot to get into the Imperial Forward Base.
3 – How to get “Covell’s Secrets”
-> On the first floor of the main building
1. Talk to Captain Covell
Captain Covell is casually positioned by a pillar in the vibrant Mirogana City Market. Kay must engage him in conversation to extract crucial Intel: Impressing Gorak. As an esteemed Imperial Officer, Covell discloses that the sought-after Crimson Dawn Datapad is housed back at the compound. Before parting ways, Kay is granted a bonus piece of information, known as “Covell’s Secrets,” seamlessly integrated into the “Impressing Gorak” Intel section within the game menu.
INTEL: COVELL’S SECRETS
“Officer Covell’s datapad contains detailed information about Crimson Dawn operations.”
-> The datapad is probably locked away inside a vault.
2. How to enter the “Imperial Forward Base”

The Vent Entrance Bases Main Entrance Vault Turbo lift and Roof are all emphasized
The Imperial Forward Base, situated south of Mirogana City, serves as a heavily guarded restricted area. For Kay, it is advisable to avoid being spotted in this location.
Prior to commencing, here’s a key tip: Utilize Nix’s skills extensively! Nix is adept at sabotaging and disabling alarms, diverting guards, and detonating explosives. These capabilities hold significant value within the base.
For covert entry into the Imperial Forward Base, the optimal access point is the cave depicted in the screenshot below.
Navigate to the cave’s end, where you’ll discover a vent panel. Enter the vent to find a ladder leading upward, returning you to the surface within the Imperial Forward Base. Upon emerging from the vent, the game will prompt you to “Look,” revealing the building and guiding you to its second floor.
3. How to get “Covell’s Secrets”
The Imperial Forward Base has basically
There are multiple entrances to the building. However, before proceeding, consider the following tips:
->Employ Nix to sabotage and deactivate the alarms. It’s simpler if you’re seen.
-> Utilize the benefits of steam flooring for protection. These floors emit steam and can serve as effective concealment areas.
->Active cameras and turrets are present. While the cameras feature a switch, the turrets, impervious to damage, can only be deactivated at the apex of the main compound.
-> Treasures: There are three treasures at the Imperial Forward Base and I will highlight them here as well.
TREASURE CHEST 1 – UNDER THE PLATFORM
In the area, where you enter the Imperial Forward Base through the vent, there is a staircase with a yellow grid wall. The chest is just behind the wall, next to the stairs under the first-floor platform.
Contains:
Scout Trooper Helmet
Speeder Trophy
Initially, access to this two-story building is available from two different directions. One entrance is situated directly across from the vent through which you entered the base, while the other entrance is located on the side (refer to the map above).
Within is a long chamber flanked by speeders, guarded by sentinels near the turbo-lift. The lift is shielded by a force field, accessible through hacking the nearby computer.
Once the field in front of the turbo-lift is lowered, step inside and ascend to the first floor. Deal with the imperials first, then proceed to slice the nearby computer. Utilize all three options: Disable turrets, deactivate cameras, and Transfer Data. The first two actions will simplify Kay’s overall life.
Kay has just uncovered crucial Intel – the “Vault Code” and “Confidential Data” needed for the Imperial Forward Base Intel Quest.
We are yet to uncover our purpose here: Covell’s Secrets. Seek out a data pad atop the circular control table at the room’s center, distinguished by the holographic imperial emblem.

Now, Kay faces a crucial decision – whom to entrust with the data pad to boost her reputation: the Pykes or Crimson Dawn. Once she makes her choice, the mission marker will update to indicate the location for delivering the data pad. As soon as you deliver the data pad, the Intel Quest “Impressing Gorak” is completed.
Continue the Intel: Imperial Forward Base Quest here and grab the other two chests while you’re at it!
