Five Ronin Duelling Trees

The mission in the map menu of the game is straightforward and gives you the locations of the five trees. Here they are.

Takezo The Unrivalled: Duel 1 of 5

Duel the Ronin at the mysterious tree in the northwestern corner of the Tokachi Range. There is a tree with yellow leaves by a pond. Squeeze through the gap in the wall near the tree to reach the Duelling Tree.

Takezo The Unrivalled: Duel 2 of 5

Duel the Ronin at the mysterious tree in the northwest of the Yotei Grasslands.

Takezo The Unrivalled: Duel 3 of 5

The third ronin is in the southern parts of Tomamu Marshlands in the Tokachi Range region. The Duelling Tree is in front of the waterfall, and the ronin is waiting next to the waterfall in a small cave.

Takezo The Unrivalled: Duel 4 of 5

Duel 4 is taking place at the Niikappu Falls, Tokachi Range.

Takezo The Unrivalled: Duel 5 of 5

Duel the Ronin at the mysterious tree west of Lake Shikotsu at the Yotei Grasslands.

Coastal Duelling Tree

After defeating all five ronin, head to the Southern Coast at Yotei Grasslands. Wait for him by the tree stump near the campfire. After he arrives, follow him to the fight ring on the beach. Interact with Takezo to duel him.

The Five Teachings

Equip the five Charms of Takezo that you received while defeating the five ronin and wait at the campfire atop Mount Yotei. You will get to the top by following the path of the Mount Yotei Shrine, if you haven’t been up there yet. The campfire is close to the shrine.

2 – Takezo’s Charm of the Renewed Determination
3 – Takezo’s Charm of Bracing Victory
4 – Takezo’s Charm of the Stout Heart
5 – Takezo’s Charm of the Unrelenting Warrior

When you have all five Takezo Charms equipped, he will arrive as soon as you interact with the camp. Follow and defeat him in the nearby ring. Don’t forget to pick up his weapon kit as well.
