Fire Fox Den

I accidentally stumbled upon a gate at the map boarder southwest of Oni’s Breath Inn and east of the Firefox Den, Ishikari Plain. Pull the gate open and squeeze through the gap in the wall to find the Inari Shrine.

Twin Path Fox Den

The Twin Path Fox Den is west of Sensei Takahashi’s Dojo, in the north of Ishikari Plain.

The Fox will make various stops before arriving at the shrine.

Nayoro Wilds

1 – Clear Water Fox Den

Clear Water Fox Den

The Clear Water Fox Den is in the north of the Nayoro Wilds, at the Nupur River.

Follow the fox through an area with deer traps. When it jumps over and destroys platforms, pull down the nearby log with your grapple to cross. At the end, you will meet a woman and will receive the charm.

Oshima Coast

1 – Blushing Forest Fox Den

Blushing Forest Fox Den

The Blushing Forest Fox Den is in the north of Matsumae Castle in the Oshima Coast region.

Follow the fox west until you meet and defeat a group of Saito’s men. The fox will then run south to the castle wall, where there is a gap to squeeze through. Follow the fox through the garden to the Inari Shrine.

Teshio Ridge

1 – High Wall Fox Den
2 – Winding River Fox Den

High Wall Fox Den

The High Wall Fox Den is in the north of Teshio Ridge at the Sarufutsu River. It is guarded by ronins. Defeat them and follow the fox.

Follow it north across the river, then east towards Soya Port to an unnamed hunters’ camp. Don’t forget to free the fox in the camp.

Winding River Fox Den

The Winding River Fox Den is north of the Red Crane at the Teshio River in the Teshio Ridge region.

Follow the fox to a collapsed cave entrance and pull it open with the grapple to free another fox trapped inside.

Both foxes will then lead you to the Inari Shrine at the top of the hill.

Tokachi Range

1 – Warm Plains Fox Den
2 – Whispering Woods Fox Den

Warm Plains Fox Den

The Warm Plains Fox Den is near the Saito Encampment in the western parts of Tokachi Range.

The Fox will make three stops to show you a gift – a bundle of materials on the floor. Pet it after picking it up to continue the chase. After the third gift, it will finally lead you to the Inari Shrine on a small island in the Yubari Lake.

Whispering Woods Fox Den

The Whispering Woods Fox Den is north of Shizunai Woods and southeast of Huranui’s Rest Inn in the Tokachi Range region.

Follow the fox to the eastern map border wall until you reach a blocked cave entrance. Open it and head inside. Continue along the path to find another blocked passage, which you’ll also need to pull open. This will take you to a pond where a group of Saito’s men are waiting. Defeat them, then follow the fox up the hill to reach the Inari shrine.

Yotei Grasslands

1 – Flowing Water Fox Den
2 – Lake View Fox Den
3 – Grassy Hill Fox Den

Flowing Water Fox Den

The Flowing Water Fox Den is just north of the Tranquil Falls at the Yotei Grasslands.

Approach the fox and follow it uphill to a bamboo thicket.

Cut the bamboo, and keep following the fox to the peak, where the Inari Shrine awaits.

Grassy Hill Fox Den

The Grassy Hill Fox Den is just south of the Road to Ishikari Plain at the Yotei Grasslands.

Approach the fox and follow it to a pit where a settler is trapped. Interact with the ledge to help him out. You can now open the nearby cave entrance and receive the shrine’s blessing.

Lake View Fox Den

The Lake View Fox Den is on the southern side of Lake Shikotsu at the Yotei Grasslands.

Approach the fox and follow it to a den in the southeast. It needs help to open the den and free a second fox.

Follow the two foxes to the Inari Shrine, where you have to bow (down-stroke on controller pad).
